  • This is one of the very few orphanges that act6ually care about the children. There are so many just left alone in the cribs all day, they get to the point where they don't even cry anymore.

  • what is the song in this video called?

  • @orangesngrapes nevermind. i found it :)

  • I have been there and the children and the staff that I met were truly amazing.

  • That's probably the nicest orphanage in China. I just watched a documentary where some of the orphanages looked more like abandoned shacks.

I really wish I had the money to make a difference in those orphanages.

  • i will adopt 1 day too i loved adopting kids instead of having 1 my own because less crimes against kids who have 1 parents or no parents like they can't think right and i know with my help and everybody who adopt them will make them scared but will make them happy and easy and do what they got to do.

  • There are some misconceptions in these comments. The government makes it nearly impossible for parents to keep more than one child. There is a one child rule. There is a very high tax for subsequent children that most families cannot afford to pay not to mention other penalties. A female when married will go to live with her in-laws, a son will stay with his family bringing his wife home. The son then helps his parents in old age. The people love children. This system is forced upon them.

  • @blankj sadly much of your statement is true. I wish there was another way to stop this from happening but there is also a large amounts of unwanted pregnancy like in any other country. Many of these orphans that you saw have special needs or were seen as imperfect.

I had the privilege of visiting this particular children's home that was founded by and American couple. It is about 5 years now since that visit. It really changed my perspective on a lot of things about China and its orphans .

  • i want to adopt an older girl. my reletives adopted. im 11 my little cousin katelyn is from russia and maddie and connor are from korea! (i was born to my blood parents though)

  • Who would abandon them? :(

    its so sad

i'll adopt as many as i can before having my own children. It seems selfish to bring new life into the world when theres little children with no parents wanting to be loved.

  • Sadly China has a 1 child law so that is how most children end up in the orphanage. I am seriously considering Adopting a child from China, it should be the first port of call for anybody thinking of adopting!

  • Yeah it should

you have to be 30 though? :/

    x

  • Also a lot of them are probably special needs children, and special needs children in china aren't accepted. In fact asians in general have a harder time accepting their child is special needs.

  • most children are abandoned just because they are girl. In most rural place , people want boy instead of girl and girls are seldom given chances to go to school even they are not abandoned. I hate those selfish and stupid parents, but there is no law to punish them . Yet , the situation in urban palce is much better.even a couple have only one girl ,they will treart her like a princess and provide her the best they can.

  • I AGREE .... and besides imagining the birthing progress, along with the 'how' to get a baby in you... yea i'll adopt =p

  • I wish I could adopt all of them...bless their little hearts.

  • me too, the day i turn 30 im sending an application so i can get my daughter<3 (im 17 now)

  • God Bless you. I want to adopt as well. I like to go to China or other parts of the world to help lttle orphans.

  • Thanks you for this video. They are special children. Blessings to you:)))

  • what song is this??

  • i want to work as a helper in a orphanage there

would u give me the adress

  • Yeah, it would be stupid to adopt from your own country first.

  • When I grow up and I'm settled down, I'm going to adopt a child from China, they're all so adorable and deserve so much more...

  • I am too. =)

  • I went to this orphanage. It was such a blessing and I'll never forget how much fun I had with the children. I hope to go back some day. =]

  • Kate, they're adorable!

  • I know, aren't they? =D

  • When I am all grown up...I will adopt a orphan child. This is too sad to watch.
