  • what is best 1366 vs 1156? seems like 1156 is more popular atm might be wrong

  • yea, EVGA offers free tech support 24/7, great Customer service!!

  • what ram memory are you currently using with your evga sli motherboard also what was recertified on the evga sli motherboard?

  • is the ASRock X58 Extreme LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard any good?

Is it ease to overclock the i7 with it?

  • EVGA x58!! BEST...GREAT SERVICE and EASY!!!

  • buy a Gigabyte :D

  • Rodney Reynolds reminds me of Dexter Morgen.

  • i have a question

WHAT IS THE BEST MOTHERBOARD 1366

    answer please

  • The best one is GA-G41M-ES2L. Ya you should buy it.

  • r u laughing

it has just one pci slot for graphics card

and wasnt asking for mini ATX

  • Email it him and he'll prob answer!

  • evga classified not that practical tho

  • X58 Classified 4-SLI

  • cool name

  • DFI lanparty

  • what is the best motherboard for a amd athlon 64 x2 am2+ (for around 40 pounds)

  • you could neva get good motherboard for 40 pounds

  • Excellent recommendations Rodney. Plus 1 here on the eVGA board

  • why the hell do you have like 20 videos a day now and the quality is so bad

  • So he can get donations.

  • yea but he made it his job to make video's and ask for donations xD

  • He's also answering a TON of useful questions.

  • To some it may be but I only like to see the product reviews so it is of no use to some people like me ya know? I had not been on in a couple days and had 20+ videos from him haha

  • Well I guess if you only like his review videos then it would seem pointless.

  • Rodney, the video quality seems horribly off in this video. Did something happen to your usual camera?

  • these are just his q&a videos he does these on his laptop webcam.

  • UM NO

  • im runing the asus p6t deluxe v1. i7 290 @ 4ghz

if i were to get another 1366 id go for any asus or any evga

  • EVGA ftw

  • u got that right

  • I currently have the Asus P6T SE. Has everything I need. I wont ever use Sli and it can support up to 24 GB of ram. and its only $254 CND.

  • I have an Asus P6T here and no compIaints!

Just waiting to update my graphics sub-system (2x 8800GTin SLI) to the GTX 300 series cards soon.

  • no complaints? you probably running vista or xp. I'm running window 7. And if you want to contact asus for help, you will be charged for long distance.

  • Correct. I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I haven't tried Win 7 yet as I want to get a new hard drive to run it off of and not worry about corrupting anything. I didn't know about the charge of long distance though however. I usually do all my correspondence trough e-mail.

  • at this time windows 7 gives an error 651,wont let you connect to the internet, hope they repair that soon...

  • i can recommend rampage 2 extreme instead of p6t,but asus p6t ws supercomputer motherboard has 5 pci-e x16 and 1 x8 pci-e slot(or something like that) so you might like that one too.also there is the gigabyte GA-EX58 Extreme.

  • evga x58 is trash, seriousally. Get the ASUS., has x-fi sound chips in them.

  • No it doesn't.

It doesn't have an X-Fi chip. The sound card has software that emulates xfi.

  • you are willing to spend around 3 bills to get a mobo but then you want to use onboard sound??

  • I prefer the MSI X58 Eclipse.

  • Could you please not answer 20 questions at once?

I just lost a lot of the videos in my subscriptions.

    Thanks.

  • ummm no?

hes not gonna do it just because you want him too

  • evga is my favorite company for motherboards and video cards, they always cater to overclockers and enthusiast, they even host their own gaming servers.

  • LOGITECH mouse!! looks like G5! I love the G5

  • eh my 10$ mouse and 10$ keyboard are fine for most games

  • What ever works for ya! I bet my $60 mouse and $80 keyboard are better though.

    Logitech G5 Mouse

    Logitech G11 Keyboard

I love the extra buttons on the G11 cause I can program them to do pretty much anything.

  • hehe i had logitech g11 and logitech g7 ( its a logitech g5 but wireless ) now i have a logitech G19 and a razer mamba:D

  • I have the G15 v2 and the MX 518 myself. Laser requires a good mousepad to be able to perform to its full potential, which I'm simply too lazy to get. 1800 dpi is much more than I need anyways.

As for the G15, the LCD screen is useful as hell for monitoring system info during OCing or gaming. Besides, I don't need 54 hotkeys ;)

  • Too overpriced and overrated. I'd rather go for a premium AM3 motherboard with Crossfire capability and a Radeon HD 4870X2 or Radeon HD 4890 in CF. Plus, I could get the Phenom II X4 955. SLI is not as good as Crossfire in the GeForce 200 series compared to the Radeon HD 4800 series. Crossfire gets near 98% better performance in 2560x1600 than using a single card.

  • Well, I can agree with you on two things; atheism does rule and AM3 is a competitor to 1366.

However, SLI is much better then xfire. Why? driver support. My uncle had his 4870x2, and the drivers were terrible. he went to xfire 4870x2's, and it got worse. My friend on the other hand now has two GTX 285's and they perform amazing in any game.

And while I do believe the 4800 series amazing, I have no clue where you made u- err, got the 98% better data. 200 series outperform 4800 anyday.

  • The driver thing was only a problem one year and a month ago when the series had just come out. Right now the only one that has problems is the 4300 series. Driver excuse is old and no longer a factor today. BTW, a Radeon HD 4890 provides 97% scalability when playing games at 2560x1600, while a GTX 260 Core 216 SLI will only get you 85-90%. You should check Tom's Hardware review on that—that's from where I got the near 98% scalability data. BTW, 4890 Crossfire>GTX 295.

  • with the latest drivers, my uncle still has issues with two 4870x2's in xfire. IDK if they fixed the single 4870x2 issues. And BTW, '98% better performance' is COMPLETELY different from saying "98% scalability". It's only 8% better, not 98.

Finally, comparing 4890 xfire to a 295 is unfair in respects that the 4890 system has two lanes, PCBs, and especially more RAM. A PS3 uses an old 7800 GT competitively by using excessive RAM amounts.

If there was a 4890x2 it would lose to the 295.

  • Wait, what? No, it delivers 98% more performance at 2560x1600 than using a single card. That's what is meant by "scalability". And if you don't believe me, check Tom's Hardware review on it. I'm not making this up.

And no, it's not unfair to compare them. For one, an X16 lane can handle all the bandwidth just fine. Most decrease that has been seen by using an 8x lane for each card in CF or SLI is 5%. And it only has 256MB more RAM. They both have more than 1.5 GB VRAM.

  • right, but in your original post your wording seemed like you meant to say xfire was 98% better than SLI.

  • hi

    there is a company they sale Gigabyte EX-58 UD3R + i7 920 + DDR 3 (3X2GB 1333 SL9) FORE

    ( 772 USD ) ? is that good or bad price ? ;D

  • The UD3R is rubbish, and it only has 4 RAM slots.

  • So you can still have 6GB of ram in triple channel or 8GB in dual channel, that's not really rubbish. Tell me what's rubbish about it?

  • Apart from fewer DIMMs and fewer full-sized PCI-E slots it also lacks the onboard power button, does not support SLI, the PCI-e 4x slot and one of the 1x slots are obstructed, just off the top of my head. It's riddled with cost saving features that end up bringing the value down more than they bring down the price.

  • Budget users do not use SLI, they do not need tons of ram, they do not need an onboard power button. I'm talking about normal users, not tweakers who overclock and need the best performance. I think it's an OK board for simple people. It's a matter of needs, all the extra's are nice but when you don't use them it's a waste. I use the UD4P that fills my needs, but haven't used SLI yet..

  • thank for answering my question ;D

  • Also, the Gigabyte EX-58 UD4P is in the same price range and VERY well featured. I'd say even more so than the P6T.

  • Between the EVGA X58 Tri-SLI and ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, which is better?

  • has rodney forgot to use his hd camera? xD

  • webcam is easier for him to use and browse at same time.

  • ye, i figured that later on hihi...

i wonder if youtube works with pinnacle movie boxes... hmm

  • i have rampage 2 gene

  • What's the best, BUDGET 1366 motherboard? I have a Gigabyte EX48-UD3R, but I had to RMA due to failure to read HDD's.

  • nice 3dgameman thxs for uploading vidos!!

  • got the asus p6t, really good board

  • P6T Deluxe V2

  • 65 dollers more gets you a rampage II extreme

  • Also the hard drive is 500 gb

  • Hey, I have a question.

My birthday is coming up soon and I need a good external hard drive for personal back up use. It needs to be under $110 and I was looking at one on amazon for $99 and it was made by Toshiba and it's micro sized and portable.

Would brand would you recommend for personal back up that is easy to set up, fast transfer, and won't crash as much?

    Thank you!

  • i got a asus p6t deluxe for my gaming pc never had any problem looks stylish pretty cheap considering the features so im very happy with it

  • Motherbaord?

  • he posted alot of vids he just made a type-o

  • Fixed. Thx for spotting this

  • Sorry, I kind off felt being a dick to point small typos. Anyway great video and these many in a row is amazing Rodney!

  • I actually appreciate it when folks catch errors :)

  • @3DGAMEMAN Iheard evga is NOT as stable as ASUS

  • @3DGAMEMAN Hey game man 11 months later what x58 boards are looking good to you??

  • Im using the EVGA x58 SLI LE ($230) and i LOVE it. Supports TRI-SLI, up to 1600MHZ memory and also has some other great features that i dont have the time to explain. :]
