@ptuku nahhh, the reason why messengers nowadays use fixed gear bikes is cause they are more flexible with where they move, thats how they get into those tiny ass spaces, also, dont hate on a type of bike, love all riders and all types of bikes
@thecastman97 it's the rider who can get trough the tiny spaces, not the bike. at least that's what I think :P a normal bike would do the same, as long it isn't required to go backwards.

It's actually faster to change a tube on a geared bike, if you have a QR. Oh and you don't need to remove the derailleur either, and it tensions itself perfectly when you put the wheel back. Why dont you ride a pennyfarthing, no chain! What could be simpler?
@jeremysetdec not all ppl have qr and i find a qr on the back tire to be a pretty bad idea just in my opinion i would never trust one on the back ether way fixed is the simplest form of a bike dont have to deal with all the gears and gear shifts and when you get used to it there easy to slow down and stop
