@sovereign126 Hardstyle has changed alot since the old days. But its gotten progressivly softer. More accessible and mainstream. Nowadays, I honestly don't like hardstyle that much anymore.

I just wanted to say, its not ALL great. That is an opinion, which is subjective. Music is a tough thing to judge.

@sovereign126 On that note, I look at hardstyle like I look at the elder scrolls series. Its progressivly evolved and changed yes. But the music is being made for a different crowd. Just like the games. It started out hardcore, 90-95% mature audience only. And now, most of the people who are into hardstyle are majority young kids who cant even go to parties anyways. Its become commercial, and in my opinion has lost alot of its soul and specialness that made old fans love it.

The reason its different is because, this new hardstyle is being made for me anymore. Its being made for a younger generation. Its not really a mature genre anymore, its taking the route trance took way back in the day. Look at technoboy, he used to be the king, and now he isn't shit compared to what he used to be.
