  • Ian Anderson and Martin Barre disliked this song...

  • such epic mustache xD <3

  • XD only nazis could hate this song.... ITS SO AMAZING <3 Styx <3

  • Wonder how JY feels being the sole remaining member of the original band?

  • @StephanieHammack | Alone? Because he IS the last. DeYoung and the Pannazo brothers were the nucleus of the Tradewinds. When Dennis brought in JY, TW4 started playing more gigs, outside of Roseland. When JC entered the band, they changed their name to Styx. JC and John Pannazo have passed. Chuck is too sick to tour, and Dennis (the only member to have written, produced, and/or sing EVERY Styx hit) was kicked out of the band. Tommy came in after JC left, before the Equinox tour.

  • I love this song! Remember them singing it at several shows - remember Glen and the while shirt - Tommy and the shorter hair......... Would love to hear it again! Life was good!!!! : ) No one needed to know what you were thinking about! : )

  • I miss Glen!

  • @Balin93 keep april 14th open... ;)

  • They all have so much energy. And Glenn seems way to fun to watch; It's a shame I'm a youngling and missed out on seeing him while he was in Styx.

  • I am impressed

  • Dude, STYX is to music as what the ray gun is to Nazi Zombies.

  • I've liked this live lineup best. Glenn really added a lot to the group and I miss him. And while Dennis DY was a great musician, I never could get into him as a live performer. He just didn't look/act like what I envisioned to be a rock star. That's to take nothing away from his musical ability. JY and Tommy alternating song and leads keeps things hopping. Gowan is nuts up there and Todd is just an octopus on the drumset. A GREAT lineup and this is an outstanding opening song.

  • I miss old Greg Burtnick.! lots of evergy from that dude..! STYX still ROCKS..!

  • Glenn Burtnick

  • Greg?Glenn? w/e

  • I wish they played this more in their tours...along with others from the Brave New World Album/Cyclorama albums...you guys are amazing and Gowan you are hot... keep on rockin - see you guys in Sept. in BC

  • My favorite song from that very good record.

  • Thank U

  • I wonder why they didn't include this on the DVD. It's awesome! Tommy's voice is incredible.

  • you can get 21st Century dvd/cd combo and is has this video on it...

  • I was at this show directly in front of tommy, man it was amazing, they just get better all the time, andyes gowan is the best keyboardist ever with his antics and making us laugh.

  • I was recently directly in front of Gowan during a concert, and he's amazing. Not just a great keyboardist, but incredible energy and humor!

  • Best live sound of ANY band I've ever seen. They're great live and this is a terrific opening song!

  • Is this from the Styx/REO dvd? Mine doesen'n include this song...

  • this is from the same show, but wasn't included on the Arch Allies DVD. You can find it on the Styx 20th Century Live CD/DVD.

  • u can get it on itunes on the live at the rivers edge CD

  • What do you mean by that?

  • bah!

  • This song rocks. All the songs on Brave New World w/out DeYoung rocked!

  • Never. Say that again.

  • yeah!

  • Well, you gotta admit, they weren't that great. DeYoung has had some great stuff in the past, but Brave New World wasn't it. Granted, While There's Still Time is OK if you're in the mood for it.

  • everyone who says that Lawrence Gowan isn't a good keyboardist can rot in hell. I saw them live in August, and Lawrence put on a HELL of a good show. To be honest, he and Tommy were really the most active on stage. Lawrence's keyboard spins, and he would play the keyboard BACKWARDS (with his hands behind his back)!!!!!!!

  • Finally, someone who agrees with me...

Seriously, Gowan gave a lot of life back to Styx. Listen to Blue Collar Man from the '96 Return to Paradise tour w/ DDY, then listen to BCM from this tour (2000). Anyone else think Styx sounded OLDER in '96?

  • hell yes! gowan is by far the most amazing keyboardist ever. gives a whole new spin to styx. he rocks live and puts on the best show. DDY mighta been the backbone of styx, but that was back 20+ years ago. right now, styx is still rockin thanks to tommy and larry. keep on rockin guys! and ur right, BCM sounds way older cuz of the voice deyoung uses.

  • @sheabretooth71 Although I agree that DDY was the main songwriter of Styx, and he was a very talented pianist, his fault lies with his writing songs for his wife. However if he had not became ill we woudn't have some of these great songs because DDY's ideas were all focused on the Kilroy Was Here album.

  • @JOECOXISAWESOME I can't take this. Dennis did the keyboard work on this album. He also sang and better than Gowan. I saw this tour live. The band did

    and still does need Dennis.

  • @spiglator | Dennis also produced this song on the album. You can tell the ones he produced on the album. The ones he didn't SUCK!

  • @sheabretooth71 Yes, Gowan can play keyboard well. He can play every note

Dennis wrote. That includes this one. However, no way can he sing like Dennis.

  • I agree!!

  • I agree

  • awesome
