This is one series (Batman) that SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED ON DVD YEARS AGO. Still the ONLY superhero show to get the villains looking like the villains form the comics.

@Shroomn2hi Oh Yeah, Shroomn2hi! Marta was her character on the Trek episode: "Whom Gods Destroy". Best line from the show: "He's is my lover...and I must kill him" after she thinks she seduces Kirk. The hormones RAGED the most whenever I would see her as Batgirl though. Any girl with a figure like that wearing an outfit like that can kick me anytime! (insert Joker laugh here:-)

It was only in the unaired pilot that Barbara Gordon's skirt became Batgirl's cape. When Batgirl was added for the third season, the producers decided that they wanted Barbara Gordon to wear different outfits in each episode. That's also why Batgirl's cape is shorter in the unaired pilot than it is in the series. Another thing we see in the unaired pilot that we don't see in the series is Barbara Gordon in her Batgirl costume without her mask on.

Two noteworthy differnces in the unaired pilot and the TV show:first, in the unaired pilot, Barbara Gordon's skirt becomes Batgirl's cape;the producers scrapped this idea because they didn't want Barbara Gordon to wear the same skirt in every episode. Also, in the unaired episode, Batgirl's mask was pointed on the bottom. The mask left dents on Yvonne Craig's gface which would be difficult for Batgirl to explain when she had to make a quick chamge to Barbara Gordon, so the mask was rounded off.
