Season one was absolutely staged....With Season Two, Haim and Feldman said they wanted more of a genuine "reality," show. There's no way Haim would have acted like a drug addict, his struggles are real. If they weren't, he should have been in line for an Emmy, but there's no doubt in my mind that the events of season two were more or less NOT staged. Haim and Feldman readily admitted season one was completely staged, but they have both maintained that season two was not.

Clearly Haim has some issues. It seems that when he was younger, he may have been abused or bullied by various people and either not physically able to protect himself. Now he's beefed up, tattooed and super defensive to anyone who gives him an ounce of crap. He needs to explore and face his demons from the past and forgive himself for not being strong enough to be able to protect himself. The drugs and anger mask a deep hatred of himself. I originally put season one up for friends in the UK and with season two I just decided to post it so everyone could enjoy it.
