@kissass51 No, it can be inferred that its possible his bankai might injure other people if he releases it. As in it may be an area of effect bankai, and he didn't want everyone else effected by it. Like how someone sees aizens shikai, they fall under his illusion, more than likely shunsui has a bankai where if other people see it, they get effected by it.

If you look at it this way, both the Vizard and the Arrancar are 'failed' experiments, since Vizards are pseudo Arrancar, and Arrancar are only like Shinigami when in their weakest form, and when they release their swords they become more Hollow-like.
Starrk's Hollow mask recedes when he goes into Resureccion, and he becomes more like a soul than an Arrancar.
If you haven't noticed, his Hollow Hole gets smaller as well.

Starrk and Ulquiorra are quite similar. Starrk is lonely, while Ulquiorra is empty. The only difference is, that Starrk always knew, what feelings are. But he was never able to experience them on his own. I think, ouf of all Espada, he matches my personality the best.

It was more than Lilynette that made Stark realize he wasn't alone. Their lifelong dream was to find people as strong as they are, enemies or not. The only way they could feel a sense of togetherness was to fall to a stronger opponent.

Joshiro's bankai was never revealed, and if its anything like his shikai, it may be able to reverse things like starrks wolves on a large scale. He is one of the oldest captains after all. And Unohana is shown to be more powerful than shunsui or joshiro in the 1st bleach character databook. Aswell, Shinji may have a powerful illusion type bankai. @Supertrunks777 There are actually quite a few Espadas that were once Vasto Lorde. Espada 3 and 4 were definetly vasto lorde, you can see that Tia was during her flashback. Starrk, Baraggan and Yami were probably vasto lorde as well but we don't know.

And Yami was a Adjunchas, with the ability to absorb thousands of souls with his Gonzui. A ability no other hollow has shown to posses. When toshiro speaks of adjunchas, the silhouette is that of yammy, and the vasto lord is that of ulquiorra. The espada are ranked based on Reiatsu, which yammy has more of then anyone. Tite Kubo confirmed this in his Databook Masked.

Ulquiorra doesnt have a Tricera resurreccion, Grimmjow and Nnoitra dont have 2nd releases, and yes, grimm, and nnoi, may be adjunchas, i mean grimm got kicked out of the espada just for loosing his arm, and nnoi used to be ranked 8. a vasto lorde doesnt get ranked 8, and a vasto lorde doesnt get kicked out of the espada for loosing a arm. And there is no new espada number 1... who is Roiygaenne Harmonia..... <.<

@RothrilSectolith lol its basicly fan fiction i think... just ignore him... the only vasto lordes are 4-1 (yami might be but hes useless anyway) and grimm wasnt kicked out cuz of losing an arm he was punished by losing his arm and his full power because he went against the rules and took 5 arrancars with him to the human world to attack ichigo and every1 with spiritual pressure

@Supertrunks777 There are actually quite a few Espadas that were once Vasto Lorde. Espada 3 and 4 were definetly vasto lorde, you can see that Tia was during her flashback. Starrk, Baraggan and Yami were probably vasto lorde as well but we don't know.

@GenocideXX5 We saw Barragan in the flashback.... He was much stronger than Tia then. he was the king of all hollows after all. And Yami was a Adjunchas, with the ability to absorb thousands of souls with his Gonzui. A ability no other hollow has shown to posses. When toshiro speaks of adjunchas, the silhouette is that of yammy, and the vasto lord is that of ulquiorra. The espada are ranked based on Reiatsu, which yammy has more of then anyone. Tite Kubo confirmed this in his Databook Masked.

@RothrilSectolith it was in the anime o.o it is when the fraccion attack the soul reapears... numbers like 11-16 go with him to fight renji, toshiro, rangiku, umm.. whats his face.. ikkaku and when rukia gets ass kicked by grimmjow then tousen comes 2 get him which is when luppi = 6th espada around ep 112?
