typical unc fan. fairweather, bandwagon fans. you've probably only followed acc basketball for the past 10-15 years or so, therefore you don't know what the real rivlaries are. any decent unc fan that knows what they are talking about will tell you that state is in fact unc's rival. also, isn't it funny how when chuck amato was doing well unc fans just said "oh, we don't give a shit about football"...yet when they start beating state, the unc "faithful" return to talk shit.

When was Chuck Amato doing well? He had a few decent seasons and was a better coach than Bunting (not head to head however) But it seemed like he only wanted to win against FSU.

state USED to be! I guess in a sense you can say they still are bc I know what you're talking about, but no one really cares to much about the unc w.pack "rivalry" anymore. It's kinda old now and clearly not as intense as the dook unc rivalry that's been going strong for some time now.

oh and by the way. unc fans have always cared about tar heel football! It's just we knew how weak the program was at the time and were not all that surprised at the losses. But of course if they start winning you get excited cuz it's like yea! that's more like it! lol always in support of the tar heels, just got used to losing in football.
