do you know anything about replacing the rubber roller? i just picked one up with a roller that's been turned to goo from decades of oxidation. from what i understand this is a very common dilemma

Did you notice at :03 he mishandled the record by placing his grimy fingerprints on the groove surface?
Record Care Rule #1: ALWAYS handle any record by its edges.
Otherwise, might as well not even bother with the Vacorec.
