I beat this guy, but it took several tries. Who's giving who the lesson? This guy is relentless from the start! Very imbalanced early on in the game, considering the thugs on the road are wimps. Just started playing this, so many questions... Why is the silver orb (bottom left) glowing? What attacks is this guy vulnerable to? Where's his health bar? Ugh. The learning curve with these kenpu and scrolls and stuff is making my head spin... so came here to try to learn. Any tips?

@MorreskiBear I will admit, this fight was seriously unbalanced, considering how early on in the game it is.

1. I'm not sure why that orb is glowing--I think it means you're strong against Metal Chi.

2. There's no health bar on bosses (which is kinda stupid, 'cause normal enemies have them).

3. All you have to do is collect kenpu from defeated enemies and treasure chests, and put them into the scrolls, so you'll have complete combos to use in battle.

@chaffXgrenade that glowing orb means that you're weak against metal chi. You're strong against earth chi if equipped with seiryu chi arts.
