16 year olds that aren't capable of making a mature choice won't vote anyway. Plus in most states you can be tried as an adult at 16 and you can pay federal taxes on your wages (I did when I was 17 and I couldn't vote). If you're old enough to be tried as an adult and pay taxes then you ought to have a say in how you're spent and what laws you're tried under, even if you aren't as mature as an older voter.
Im 16 from OC, California. Although I would vote, and I know of a few students that would, I think that the voting age is fine how it is because if the age was lowered there would be too many immature students voting who wouldn't actually care-take it seriously-and would just mess around with it.
