@Yonkage Ehhh i wouldnt be so sure about that. naruto has shown himself even before Shippuden to be an excellent leader and strategist under pressure, and especially now that he's mastered Senjutsu he is an extremely likely candidate in the future. Either that or he'll become a wandering Pervy Hermit like Jiraiya ^.^
I don't think he really even wants to be. The Hokage spends all damn day doing paperwork and other boring tasks. Also, when has Naruto ever been a leader? He does absolutely everything on his own. He's a typical shounen protagonist in that his solution to every problem is "punch it", and if that fails" punch harder", and if that fails, "unleash kyuubi and/or sage powers and SMASH it".
@Yonkage First time i can remember is during the Land of waves Arc. He was able to formulate an effective plan to free Kakashi and balance the fight with Zabuza on the spot. When he has to be serious, he's quite the strategist (not even close to Shikamaru, another excellent candidate). He's very much the type to inspire people around him. I do agree that he's restless and wouldnt like the paperwork aspect
