Well, my sound card is onboard it's realtec AC 97 hd....I tried whit other sound card (Creative sound blaster 0220 live!) and it's no diference...It's the same buzz-es...the same sound. I don't know what to do anymore...it's really anoying...
@pudiliccosminalex Well, now it starts to make sense :) You need a dedicated USB or Firewire soundcard. And avoid those soundblaster's because they were not design for Music Studios. I bet your problem is there ;)
Hy...well...it's...some sord of home-cinema DAEWOO brand. Only that i can tell you, i don't know if it's hifi, or other...But the music sonds verry good, without the buzzes and noise and...you know... Just amplitube (no matter what version), or guitar rig...It's sounds the same. The clean setups sound superb, but if i add a little distortion or gain, sounds like hell...(sorry for my bad english)
@pudiliccosminalex Hi, yes they are HiFi speakers, of course the music must sound good. I used to have a long time ago hifi speakers too, and the distortion sounds were not very bad, but not good either. If all these software sounds bad I almost could tell you the problem are the speakers. What's your soundcard? Do you have one? Already tried with headphones too see if it sounds ok? If your using your regular stereo sound for music playing and recording that might be the problem.
i've tried a normal guitar which i have, i also tried it with fender squire. but the buzz remains.. could it be my connecting cable? i've got a really lengthy quarter inch cord to connect my guitar to the Preamp.. The clean ones are no problem but as soon as i switch to metal there's this huge noise and buzz and trust me, the noise gate either cuts the entire setup dead or allows the noise completely..
Hi, i really need some help here.. i have amplitube. And i also have a M- Audio mobile pre USB preamp it gives very less latency and is nice. but i also have the same buzzy and noise problems.. I mean i plug in the guitar and there is static. When i touch the strings the buzz gets stronger i've tried insulated slippers.. i 've tried playing the guitar bare feet. how do i get rid of the noise..
@Tatvashunya Hi, you seem to have the same problem as "Pudiliccosminalex" user here. Long cords are not a good idea. What was that normal guitar you tried? High distortion settings provide buzz and noises, more so in a single coil guitar. I use mine not too close to the computer. But if the noise won't really go almost away, you might have another problem in your setup. What more stuff do you use? PM me if you want me to help you better :)
hy a got a little question...i got the amplitube 2, and i have a fender stratocaster. Well, it sound very ugly (clean sounds good) but distorded sound like hell :(. With buzz-es and other shit. I have some 80 W speakers, so i don't think that is the problem. What should i do? My pc spec it's verry good so i don't think it's that either.. (sry for my bad english)
@pudiliccosminalex Hi, first of all, my Strat sounds superb with any guitar software!!! :) the noise is normal from the single coils, but you have gate included in Amplitube to reduce the noise almost to zero! Tell me about those 80 Watt speakers...HiFi speakers? Studio monitors? What brand?
@store1992 Plug into an external sound card first, usb, firewire. Then get some nice speakers connected to the soundcard so you can hear and play and record.
you must have some kind of tube amp somewhere in there (maybe under the table) :) ---- I have the same software + usb audio interface , and it doesn't sound like that or even close ! .. can you post your setup/connections with a simple diagram ?! I'm sure everyone wants to know how you get that sweet sound !!!
@whitesnake2003 Sorry for the delay...many mails... :) No tubes...lol I play with any preset or I can make my own sound. It's dificult to make a diagram...:) The presets seem to sound good enough for me.
sounds great! very impressed. I am currently demo-ing guitar rig 4, but now after seeing this video i will try top demo amplitude 2 before purchasing a product. did you by any chance try gr4? if so how did they compare? thanks.
Can oyu tell use whats your gear for this video, or you just plug your guitar into your computer and run Amplitube? Also the sound is coming from your pc speakers?
hey so if I buy this it would come with like a cord that would go from my computer to my amp or wat.don't usually use computers when i am playing guitar...
No, this only Computer related. When using this software u need an external audio interface to connect your guitar o the Computer. You can, of course, route the signal to your amp if you wish so, I've never tried it.
Yes I use the speakers on the desk and the sound here is Amazing!!! They are Tannoy's Reveal A Studio Monitors. My DI is an audio interface, an MBox2 from Digidesign ;)
how did u connect ur speaker for this video??Is it from ur mac or from ur soundcard

Hey!
Nice playing, and a nice sound there!
I have Amplitube 2, but I dont get really good sound on it. All these "scratchy" tones is gone, so it doesnt sound as cool as it should.
But i only use regular computer speakers. Do you think the sound will be much better if I get an amplifier instead?
Mariusz92 1 year ago
huh Just get some nice headphones and run your guitar though a Interface and you should have a better sound....
punx8086 1 year ago
@Mariusz92 Get some nice stereo monitors, studio monitors, they are not expensive nowadays. That will make the difference ;)

how is the guitar connect to the pc? using only a jack adaptor right?

You can do that, but an Audio External interface is the way to go for many reasons like sound quality, latency when you play, etc.
