@thegman00 I felt the same way you did towards Kid Rock, but back about 6 years ago I heard the songs "cold and Empty" and "Rock and Roll Pain Train", that was when I had a respect towards him and I find that his music has made a big turn around. He still has a few songs that have come about with some rapping in it, some I dont mind and some I dislike, but all and all he has talent and his music has gone back to the roots which makes him a great artist.
