Texas Jack's is no more. I went there in '79 from the USS Independence.

I remember TEXAS JACKS!, 34 years ago, one of the best places to go in Palma, that's not on this video, wonder what possessed them to leave out the best spot. Just like home, sawdust on a board floor, round western style tables with wooden chairs, lots of old west decorum, and a Classic bar, complete with foot rail and spittoons at the ends, stocked with all of America's favorite whiskey and beer you could drink.

I can't believe that people from the island are telling bad things about our city, There are this type of offer because people from german, uk, italy and other countries ask for this type of holidays "cheap, alcohol, party" if you don't see anymore in Majorca, you are not welcome because we have a lot of cultural things, the best beaches, and good food. I was born in Palma and I've always lived there and although it's such a beatiful city the massive tourism is just destroying its geography. Most of the bayside is full of Hotels, Apartments and consequently full of tourists, so all its beatifulness is consumed by this. However, Mallorca has very beatiful places around which are not known for the foreigners and are still good places to enjoy the environement, furthermore, the center of Palma which is not full of souvenir shops is really nice.

You are completely wrong when you say that Spain is losing its face or that the people is unfriendly: some people have become hostile against tourism because it's the reason why the Hotels are built (they destroy the bayside), and it's very common that young tourists come here for our nights, if you go to beach discos all the tourists get drunk and destroy whatever they want, so that is fucking disgusting...
