Advice: I'f you're playing Tezz, you'll definetely have to play 1 Wurmcoil at least, you won't believe how good it is, even if it dies, it leaves you 2 Artifact tokens which pump your artifact count for Tezz's -4 Loyal ability and besides gives you a 3/3 Lifelink blocker and a 3/3 Deathtouch blocker. And later those tokens become 5/5 swiss knife sweet minions.
Oh and...Did I metioned that it only costs 6 mana? and is a 6/6 Artifact Wurm Creature with Deathtouch and Lifelink? :D
Or how about this one, Wurmcoil Engine, Batterskull, Dismember your own Batterskull (-5/-5), re-equip Batterskull to Wurmcoil Engine, now a 10/10 with Deathtouch, Lifelink, Vigilance. It's just too bad that they had to remove double lifelink in M10, think of how nasty that would be...get a full lockdown with tumble magnets, tap their defenses and swing with Wurm/Batter combo...20 lifelink to the face...
@murderedpoet Oh yeah, believe me I'm running one in mine along with batterskull... ratchet bombs are also a must, I'm always versing decks that 75% of they time run swords, especially sword of body and mind which would have prot from your control spells, and milling is just the bane of my existence lol.
I run a U/B Tez control aswell, chuck a bloodline keeper/lord of lineage in there for producing chumpers for Tez, play Phyrexian Metamorph as a copy of Bloodline Keeper, 2 flying tokens per turn, and when they flip, your tokens are 6/6 flyers.... and yes Inkmoth Nexus's are a MUST!
take out the despise and jace for 2 more ponder and 3 tezz gambit imo jace doesnt work in this deck the two extra mana for just a little extra draw compared to beleren isnt worth and of course hes not even close to jace the wallet scupter
Hi! I've been using my own Tezzeret deck for some time, and personally, I think your deck is awesome. ^_^
However, like some of the commentators said, try putting in Inkmoth Nexus in your land base. Besides infecting people with 5 poison, and doing it again next turn, you can activate them for 2 damage each for Tezzeret's ulti.
Also, there's also the problem where "What happens if I don't draw Tezzeret?" Your other artifacts just sits there doing nothing. Try Wurmcoil Engines in deck? :D
i been running tez for a while now, only thing id say is PUT INKMOTHSSS IN. there ridiculous with tez. -1 him and make your inkmoth a 5/5 infect... its insane
inkmoth won't actually become a 5/5 infect. tezzeret's -1 doesnt say the card keeps its original text. it just becomes a straight up 5/5 creature. i got called out at fnm by using tezz with a darksteel relic. i thought it would become a 5/5 indestructible, but it won't. :(
@mtgzombieman actually youre wrong, cards keep their original text unless stated "and lose all abilities" like turn to frog does. You use inkmoths ability, its a 1/1 flyer infect, use tezzeret, its a 5/5 flyer infect. Once the turn ends, inkmoths ability ceases and the inkmoth nexus REMAINS a 5/5 artifact creature WITHOUT flying or infect. Next turn if you use inkmoths ability, it overwrites tezzerets 5/5 and becomes a 1/1, So thus you need to repeat tezzes ability again.
Only problem I have with Wurmcoil Engine is that if it gets exiled from let's say Oblivion Ring...you don't get your tokens.

They were so cheap! Now you can trade an Inkmoth Nexus for one of those buds xD!

Some other things you might want to consider adding in
1) Phyrexian Metamorph (Copy opponent's bomb)
2) Vault Skirge (1 for 1/1 Flying, Lifelink, which turns into a baneslayer angel when Tezz is around)
3) Solemn Simulacrum (Ramp + Card draw, on a body)
4) Life's Finale (3 Creatures from opponent deck can be devastating)
5) Tezzeret's Gambit (Proliferate your Tumble Magnets, Sphere of the Suns, Tezzeret, Jace
6) Buried Ruins (Artifact recurrence)
7) Memoricide (Sideboard! Very very useful!)
