Global warming isn't a load of crap, the Idea that melting icecaps will flood the planet is though, but not global warming in general.

Water takes up more space in a solid state, so when the Icecaps melt from planetary heating which IS occurring then the oceans will actually go down in altitude, as opposed to flooding our land masses.

1. Ice floats above water yes, which it has a 90% submergence rate. Meaning that 10% of the mass is above water, so when the ice melts, the difference won't be too noticeable.

2. The fear isn't of the Ice that is floating in water, the fear is of the ice that is on land that will melt. The water that was never in the ocean will eventually run off into the bodies of water, increasing the overall amount and height of the water level. Ehh not trying to start a fight or anything.

No, there's plenty of rock land mass under the ice caps, which doesn't account for any water displacement. There's a hell of a lot of water trapped that will only have an effect on the sea levels once it's melted and enters the sea.

The problem really is that noone would be willing to direct it since Armored Core doesn't follow a lot of Japanese stereotypical plot paradigms.

It's very fresh and very much itself and the worry is that someone would try to turn it into some sort of super-robot story or use children pilots or make it very moe.

Really, the best way might be to hire Oshii. His work on Patlabor is proof it would work.

Pity it wouldn't be popular inJapan.

no you get it on the 2nd ending when you beat it as ORCA....you take the energy from the Craddles to use some huge anti-sattalite cannons.....the part at 3:46 is those cannons.....once those cannons fire the Craddles fall

It's a great game. Out in America and I think Europe now, too... MUCH better than 4. It might have the same engine, but the new regulation with the new parts and missions, make it a MUCH improved experience. UI is much nicer too...

What saddens me about the rising AC games is that no one has the skills to use close range battle as well anymore. It seems mostly focused on far-ranged combat, no blade skills and variety. Missles, GL, and Dual weapons. Sad...

Its released in Japan, but I don't think it will be released in other countries. Due to the low expectations and sales of it in countries such as uk and na, last rating of the game I saw was 5.5. T__T But as a revived armored core fan, armored core 4 was super and made me realise why I played it in the first place, so much intense fighting. Don't understand why others flame it. But ah well...At least ps3 is region free, so we can import the game like others have already.

I was utterly disgusted when i finally got my hands on AC4. rushed piece of crap, the only thing that looks good in the game is your own ac, surroundings are crap. the weapons in the original AC's were epic, big explosions and stunning damage, AC4 had none of the above. the next armored core better be epic or the franchise will die, and i dont want that to happen
