  • Thanks for this. In my opinion, there is nothing worse than sausage without enough fat in it. Which is most commercially available sausage these days. It has always seemed silly to me to have low fat sausage, then have to add fat to cook it in order to keep it from welding itself to the pan.

  • @flamesfromblazer 'erb is the traditional pronunciation, as the word comes from the Roman occupation. Same deal as 'honour'. I say 'herb', but still, you should know your stuff before you criticise.

  • @Hiimherr - you may need to add extra salt due to turkey's general blandness. Just make the test patty like he suggested and you'll know what you need.

I seem to remember you describing certain spices as "fat soluble". I'm trying this recipe your way sat morning! Thanks dude! Love your.......sausage I guess.

  • Soak your fennel seeds in water, change the water 3x a day. When they start to sprout use them in the patty mix. You're welcome.

  • there are fantastic, i made a couple of changes, some in my house dont like spice, so i used 1/2tsp of smoked paprika instead of the chilli flakes, also i used herbs instead of erbs.
