The water looks beautiful and the story was ok and also some of the explosions, but other than that the game was a disappointment. Tanya looks lika a bimbo not a soldier, the models seem lazy and low detailed, almost everything looks cartoony, the allies dont have proper infantry etc. Its a shame.

@topmcs You could definately try out the mod called "Upheaval" which adds lots of new maps and units from Uprising, and you can try the mod called Shock Therapy which basically improves the game a lot .

If you just want maps, then download them from cnclabs, and you can find a tutorial on how to install there.

SC2 doesn't even have collapse models to start from, planes just explode in air instead of crashing down depending on the speed it was traveling at.

But SC2 does have great campaign, story and multiplayer.

The story does make sense. Don't say that the story has to be like, ITS THE RED ALERT UNIVERSE, time is cnofusing, so anything could have happened, and with no einstein, nuke wasn't dropped on japan, so there weren't a huge thing halting japanese military so they rose up with high tech nano mechs

And we still have time travel, and everything is pretty much the same.That means that Red Alert (Einstein had a huge role in original Red Alert) still happened. And everything makes sense? I tried to be open minded.I I even tried skirmish. Worst Red Alert so far. It's obvious that the game was created for horny teenagers. Main Campaign does matter. It mattered in Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, original Red Alert, Tiberian series (even Tiberian series are going down, but at least they maintained it's seriousness) ...

I didn't mind ''comedic'' Red Alert 2...but I do mind ''boobs&pure_stupidty'' RA3. RA3 is ridiculous-in the worst, cartoonish way .

why i think it sucks - cut scenes have horrible acting, scenarios are very bad, colors are too 'cartoonish', it's even more 'unrealistic' than ra2, the storyline is a joke, as a war strategy game it leaves much to desire (base building is always cool but WiC for strategy detonates this). the realism of RA1 (with more stuff and some from RA2) with this gameplay and graphics would be perfect. as it is now it's a kids game
