@roseisinthewood I don't think that's true.. and even if it was, it's really irrelevant. They were and imho still are two great guitarists who died at a too young age and that's sad enough. I think it's cheesy to fight on who's commemorated more or less or better or worse, not to offend you or anything brother, but it's really a bit pointless I think.

You could just start a ride for Chuck and I bet to you people would come, it's not about who's better, it's just about paying a tribute.

It takes a lot of time and effort for these types of things to work.The guys at Ride for Dime are super cool people who care about their community. Sometimes, life is not about selling guitars or making money. Lighten up. Let people enjoy participating and supporting their communities. And yes, Dime lives on and we are proud that we can help keep his legacy and vision alive!!
