Hope they show off some new AKs at IWA 2012. Although they probably are concentrating on their M4 as it is the most common aeg among skirmishers. Makes sense from a financial viewpoint.
@SugarFreeTargets yes it does, your in america prices are literally half of what they are in canada... G&G Gr16 in the US is what 250-300$ in canada its 500, and the m4 gbb should be around 400-700usd, and the electric blow back should be about 500-800usd.
@SugarFreeTargets well for the brand name and the extreme quality that went into making it, if you have the money, personally even though I am in Canada I still would spend the money...if/wen i have it...the only con tho is that the parts for the outer furniture is going to be more expensive considering it likely will only take real steal parts, but on the upper hand real steal parts means the highest quality, so it is ever soo rare that you will need replacements... I dont kno bout the mag tho
@MarineMike97 Gas magazines will be exspensive and they tend to be unreliable because of all the Orings. But the AEG will take standard AEG style magazines. Real Sword makes amazing guns that last for years! Amazing externals and superb internals. I wouldn't be worried about it breaking down and if it does, I'm sure they'll have upgraded parts... I'm just sooo glad someone broke off the old TM style AEG! The V2 gearbox proven itself to be very unreliable.

The recoil can easily damage the airsoft knock offs that are cheaply made.

Yes, internal cut-aways were well done and showed what the assembled guns look like inside. Wish that they had a cut-away of their new M4/M16 box...which is some kind of reworked hybrid...alas, later this year or into next before we see it!
I'm still wanting to know what the difference as in preformace would be with the kwas new gbb m4 and the rs gbb m4. I do know that rs is going for the wa gas system
@z190075 I assume your trying to say "so when are we going to see a vss vintorez"?? Theres no reason to expect it from RS as all of their replicas as of now are of Chinese weapons. Only reason they are going to make the m4 and m16 are because they are THE most popular choice of aeg on the market. there is no Chinese copy of the VSS Vintorez like there is for the ak(type 56) or SVD(qbu86)
@chankahaha I think it was something that had to do with legal reasons, I dont thing the chinese gov't wanted the design of the type 95 being such public knowlege. I know that was the reason the type 95 kit that was planned for the realsword type 97 was canned
I already have their SVD, but I plan to hopefully pick up either a 97 or 97b in the near future, fuckin rock solid construction no matter which of they guns, they are all beautifully made.

That is not the first airsoft release of the Type 56. FTC made both variants in the early 90s. RS did make the first airsoft Type 97.
