@TheGetoNinja This video is an example of Parkour: move as fast and fluent possible. No flips. Free Running is an expansion of Parkour, where you put flips into it. Flips does not make you fast or fluent, so therefore it's not Parkour.

And so, Parkour is not the same as Free Running.

I do parkour. I've been doing it for 3 years. Today someone did a wall run on my school wall. I tried to do it then thought. Parkour is meant for freedom and showing the world we can all be free if we try. When he got down I said "Parkour is not meant to show off, respected is. Many other people cant have it." He then said. "I respected your loyalty to parkour. But how did you know I was showing off." i pointed to a group of girls. He said. "Thanks for opining my eyes, I appropriate it." :)

@DManDuck007 It depends on where you are at now. Try to focus on improvement from your current place. Personally, I try to use parkour everywhere; it's a mindset, one which comes with experience and time. I imagine at least a few years of training went into this video, but the important thing for you is to strive to get better. You don't learn overnight, but parkour is a lot of fun, so the time will pass quickly. If you do this, you will find yourself reaching your potential soon.

@samwrek23 Free running is doing flips and crap. But parkour is like a mental and physical discipline in my opinion. But for most, parkour is just like vaulting and climbing. Does that answer your question?

This probably one of the best videos I have seen for parkouring. I watch 10-15 videos a day on average. One of the best quality that makes this video is the great editing and movement. I always see this over edited videos that puts a damper on the talent. This one was has a smooth motion throughout and has a nice story behind it as well.

I was so engaged in the video that it didn't even occur to me that it was pure parkour until almost 3 minutes in. Usually parkour videos aren't anywhere near this amazing. Perfect choreography, execution, and music to go with it. Loved it!
