Nope. You can pick up the bugs that are already frozen, but you have to tase the live bugs while they are still moving. If you're having trouble, try zapping them right after they've turned.

You can click the numbers 1-9 on your keyboard to switch items instead of moving the mouse up to click on them. this is epsecially helpful for healing wounds when your typically moving the mouse around the same area anyways. saves a little bit of time. I keep cutting the poor bastard up with the chainsaw in the beginning.

I always chainsaw him to death on the first bit or on the lung, how come your BPM doesn't go down reeeeally fast when chainsaw-ing?

If your computer is good enough to not have the chainsaw make the game lag, the BPM will go down at about 2 per second and you should be able to make the ice cuts in less than a second each (this is why the frozen patient has such a high initial heart rate). If it isn't, just make sure that you're not going so fast that you skip one of the dots on the line, and you'll be fine.

In this case, he has probably practised the cuts enough times to be able to do them without much regard for accuracy.
