He is a great performer. Very much about his fans. That is always a good thing, and to top it off, he has turned into a very nice looking older man as well. Bobby is fantastic!
i saw him on the cover of a teen magazine when i was 11 or so. he is the first male i was ever attracted to. he's so awesome and his medical career now makes me know i picked a winner! he still sounds fantastic!
i think you have bobby sherman mixed up with randy mantooth, iloveretro77. bobby sherman was never on emergency. he was on shindig and here come the brides.
@rammer0018 no rammer you are incorrect he was on several episodes look at the listing for the program on wikipedia, besides I watched them all anything Bobby and I was there!
Oh my God! He was my first giant crush from the time I was 13 on up. He still has it! I read somewhere that he was a paramedic. So, does anyone know if he's going to do concerts again. Be still my heart!
Hee! Mine too! I couldn't believe that when I watched this video, I STILL remembered the words to this song ... my God! ... that was 30+ years ago! Did you used to watch him as Jeremy Bolt on Here Comes The Brides? So funny ... I have a 9-nine-old daughter. I was her age when Here Comes The Brides was on ... ahhh! such fond memories!
my mom is OBSESSED with bobby sherman. she has like a shrine of him down in ther basement. growing up i remember her just blarring his records and now cd's in the house and singing and dancing to the songs. good memories. my youngest sister who is now 15 ended up developing a little crush on him thanks to our mom, lol. She (my mom) met Sherman got a few pictures and got to kiss and hug him at a book signing. She was astattic (not sure if I spelt that right).
**Being 21 now, and listening to todays music and everything, music "back in the day" was soooo much better, so you guys are lucky that you had sherman, partridge family, beatles and all of them. =)
I used to have a scrapbook of pictures and articles out of Tiger Beat, 16 Magazine and such. Somewhere along all the moves I've lost it. I have pictures of him from the concerts I went to.
I was a teenager and I watched that show religiously. I was going to marry him when I got old enough...haha! No one else was good enough! I saw him in concert twice.
Along with about 1,000,000 other little girls 'back in the day', I think I actually married him when I was the ripe age of 8......at least in my own mind! LOL! Bobby was 'IT' for me. The kids in my neighborhood growing up always used to play our version of "Here Comes The Brides" & I was ALWAYS Candy! LOL! "Candy & Jeremy sitting in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Aahh.....the foolish memories of childhood! Good to see this video. Made me smile!
This just puts a smile on my face. What great memories. I can't believe he's a cop now. If they all looked and sang like this, I wouldn't mind stopping for a ticket!
I think it's great when stars take the time out to see their fans and give them some joy. They could just as easily sit and putter at home but they get out and make people smile. Rock on, Bobby!
WoW--1st real concert-when I was 8, and my older sister and her friend got to try and get closer, but I had to stay with my mom--and I cried and cried while he played 'Julie'...so traumatic---gooood times! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know, I was so mad about him, and never got to see him in concert. Saw David Cassidy who was my sister's heartthrob. This is the next best thing, and oh what memories. Be still my heart. :-)
yo im only 17. i seen an excerpt from this show bout kurt cobain and this guy was on it for some reason..anyways he had this really decent song there was this footage of all people behind him they were guitarists and each one was on a higher platform anyways it was a preoper decent song not like these ones in the video can anyone tell me the name of it?
Bobby still has it! But man, that intro is brutal. I know Bobby was acknowledging the fans, but the band just keep repeating the same intro without changing it at all.
I must've practiced singing this song for the mirror in the privacy of my bedroom a hundred times. Bobby rocks! (And for the 70's that's saying a lot.)
He is SO obviously appreciative of the fans!
