We dont kill a tomato the same way as a pig (opening them while being alive and letting the blood fall in the floor) or a chicken (taking their feathers with hot water while being alive and then cut their heads off with no pity).

I can see yer stance on it but i don't see how in certain situations the exploitation becomes afactor (i'm against the likes of food-farms).

What is confusing to me are the vegans that care about animals but not the environment. They talk the big talk about saving animals but know squat about conservation and sustainability. What is most interesting about the vegan culture to me is all the different reasons people are vegans. Some, because they were raised that way so it doesn't make sense to change their eating habits, others because they cannot eat animals for humane reasons, and others because they think animal flesh and products are disgusting; not necessarily that they feel bad for killing animals, and still others because they want to follow trends from celebrities.

You can replace eggs in a recipe with soy yogurt as well, might make them look and taste more like "bad" pancakes. But super awesome. (a friend of mine uses flavored soy yogurt sometimes as well)
