Im a die-hard Buckeye fan. After getting our asses handed to us in the entire decade of the 1990's, I was happy as all hell to see Ohio State beat Michigan for so many years in a row. I know my friends who love Michigan finally now understand how much it sucked for us in the 90's. They have a whole new prespective of the rivalary. I always root for my Buckeyes, but, I want it to be an awesome game every year, with an awesome finish. NO matter who wins as long its a great game. GO BUCKS!!!!!
He won't even be in the Heisman conversation unless his passing improves. I'm glad we won the Sugar Bowl, but his passing was flat out ugly. Throwing off his back foot, forcing into double coverage, and making bad reads are what causes you to throw 14 picks in a season.
If Hemmingway didn't bail him out on those two TDs his stats would have been even worse and we would have lost for sure. Borges didn't help him either with some of those play calls.

The kids breaking the rules weren't cheating, but the coaches covering it up so they wouldn't have to play without their star players were cheating...so yes CHEATING!

@OSUkid23 I don't judge Jo Pa hell I don't even judge Sandusky. We all have our problems, addictions, skeletons, dark side ect..; unfortunately for Sandusky and Co. his was something that isn't tolerated in this country. He had a choice and couldn't use self control, he gave into his urges and now will most likely pay (or not).
Everything up above is written under the guise the alleged crime is tru, as of right now Sandusky is innocent until proven otherwise and a verdict is rendered.
Well if Sandusky's alleged crimes are true then everyone who knew or was involved should go down and face whatever comes their way. No one should be exempt from punishment or ridicule for a crime as awful as raping children.
Abuse to a child during their formative years will be guaranteed to scar them for life and the ripple effect can harm many others. I am heartless when it comes to child abusers. If you have urges like that and act on them you deserve death.

What is child abuse now wasn't in the past, what child abuse is in America isn't in other countries. We have laws and if proven you did not follow those laws; you are then punished.

@OSUkid23 NCAA doesn't technically have to wait for the trial or verdict since Penn St admitted to "lack of institutional control". People have tried to say this is a legal issue and not a football issue which is true but the problem is in this circumstance the Football program was used and then covered up an alleged crime (though they themselves admitted they covered it up).
Then you have to consider the public's verdict, once you're accused doesnt matter guilty or not, you're guilty

@OSUkid23 I'm not in the business of feeling for others whom have no real effect on my life having said that feeling something for Joe Pa, the coaching staff and everyone else at the boys club isn't logical. He made his choice and it in the eyes of the majority was not the right one. He protected his friend and it cost him his job, reputation, legacy and health. I don't know if it was worth it you would have to ask him.

As a Michigan fan, I am DEFINITELY glad we won, but Ohio outplayed us.. If they had a somewhat decent QB we would have lost. Braxton overthrew like 3 touchdown passes. Our secondary still needs to improve.

I don't fear urban eyer as much as everybody else does. The spread offense does not mean success in the Big10. He'll get the recruits. We'll see about that offense though.
This was a fantastic game to be at. The crowd energy was just fantastic. I still haven't fully regained my voice. It's been hard these last three years. I'm so happy that this was how we ended my last season as a student in the big house.
After what happened Ohio deserved this and the fan's (who aren't complete idiots) agree. Tressel deserved to be fired, Ohio deserved to go 6-6, they deserved to lose to Michigan and they deserve whatever the NCAA gives them.

@OSUkid23 Ohio State has a history of being a very dirty program. The one thing I always think about in these types of situations is the great shame at Michigan. How Michigan handled that tells you everything you need to know.

I've never seen UM corners and safeties been beaten so badly in the game. Michigan was lucky that Miller was inaccurate all day or else it would have been another lost for the Blue.
Did you see the 2010 or 2008 versions of The Game? It was much, much worse and the secondary wasn't even in single coverage most of the time.
I think Ohio is lucky both that their cheating players were allowed back on the field at all this season and that three-quarters of blatant holding penalties weren't called.
They had the refs on their side. Negating an obvious touchdown (Fitz Toussiant in the 4th) and a bullshit Personal Foul that put us at 3rd and Goal at our own 26, it was like they were trying to throw the game in OSU's favor.

He made his choice and it in the eyes of the majority was not the right one. He protected his friend and it cost him his job, reputation, legacy and health. I don't know if it was worth it you would have to ask him.

As a Michigan fan, I am DEFINITELY glad we won, but Ohio outplayed us.. If they had a somewhat decent QB we would have lost. Braxton overthrew like 3 touchdown passes. Our secondary still needs to improve.

I hope Meyer brings OSU out of their funk. I think even the OSU fans can say that it got a little boring beating up a pathetic UM team every year. The one thing UM and OSU fans can take pride in is that this is THE best rivalry in ALL of sports; and it's wasted when they both aren't at the top of their games. UM is only going to get better, so I'm looking forward to years of great rivalry football between these two. Hopefully a Big Ten Championship game between both next year. Go Blue!!

Actually, Michigan scrapped their entire playbook and came out with an all-shotgun spread attack in that bowl game. It was incredibly confusing, not to mention frustrating...where was that all year, especially when we put up 91 yards of offense on Ohio?

After what happened Ohio deserved this and the fan's (who aren't complete idiots) agree. Tressel deserved to be fired, Ohio deserved to go 6-6, they deserved to lose to Michigan and they deserve whatever the NCAA gives them.

@OSUkid23 Ohio State has a history of being a very dirty program. The one thing I always think about in these types of situations is the great shame at Michigan. How Michigan handled that tells you everything you need to know.
As for your other "points", 2010 was vacated but yes it should be a forfeit. As for 2002 up until now....who knows? We will never know the answer. The only thing we do know is for 10 years the team on the other side of the ball was cheating.

@zippy476 No this is the first Ohio State scandal we've had. And actually I think I read the Ohio State scandal dated back to like 2005. Not a good thing for me, but it is the truth. Tressel wasn't a bad man, he just made a terrible decision that cost the whole state. Michigan is pissed off now, but if Ohio State does receive the death penalty, you won't be. This rivalry defines both schools. If its gone, nobody is happy.

Did you see the 2010 or 2008 versions of The Game? It was much, much worse and the secondary wasn't even in single coverage most of the time.
I think Ohio is lucky both that their cheating players were allowed back on the field at all this season and that three-quarters of blatant holding penalties weren't called.
