i made some tonite as well and mine were a little doughy as well....also i didnt grate fresh cheese either...seem like it may be ok for a pizza crust :-/ IDK or maybe i should have tried to make them thin as possible....
Mine crisped up after I put them in for about 4 more minutes and changed the oven from 350 degrees in the regular oven to 355 degrees in a convection oven. I almost never use the convection oven but it's good for crisping if you have one. I made a video of them while baking and and after while cooling.
You are most welcome. I just made these today and noticed the recipe is missing the oven temp, which should be 350 degrees. Also, I recommend adding sea salt on the top of the dough before baking, it gives them that something extra, they taste too bland without the salt on top in my opinion. Mine also needed a few more minutes in the oven to brown and get crispy and less doughy.
Forgot where I found this recipe....I'll see if I can find it and post it. This is not one of my recipes. I'll message you if I can find it; becuase I was thinking of making this in the coming weeks.
