God, it really is a relief to see that even though I tried my best to hate Maria/season 3, there were so many paralells (which you magnificently exposed, must I say... though I'd cling to the whole Billy thing, but that's just me never getting over it, pretty much like the Courtney complication) between the way Michael hurt her through a season and a half and Maria got to hurt him as badly through half a season...
