  • Hi GreenGirl, he has been diagnosed with Tourettes and Aspergers!! He was diagnosed a few years ago now, he went through a really rough time with his tics a year ago but they have settled a bit. He just has the eye rolling, head movements, body thrusts, sniffing and other noises etc. He's very embarassed about them though and hides most of them. When I do ask him about them he denies having them!!! They're quite obvious when he gets anxious or when he's sitting relaxed watching TV.

  • @ingyell24 Ah, I see. Well I'm glad he got over that rough period. :)

  • Great video, thanks for posting it! Your tics are soooooooooooo like my 14 yr old son's. He does all the eye rolling and sniffing various other movements too. Only difference is he doesn't really accept it and won't talk about it!!!

  • @ingyell24 cool! does he have tourette's or just tics? and thanks!

  • i have to say I love how sophisticated your music choices are in this and other videos. I love the Beethoven and I loved the Brazilian music. I can tell you're a cool person and very smart

  • @savagela ah, thank you, thank you very much!!!

  • Good vid! Thanks for posting! 5/5 stars. :)

  • @Kristiniskool merci pour regarder!

  • hm maybe you have allergies..

  • You know, it's true that seeing others tic, or just thinking about tics, makes our tics more intense. I've had that problem too. I'm having it now. And IsThisTourettes started that. :) I don't mind. I'm proud of my tics, and since I stopped caring what others think, the tics have actually become kind of fun for me. They can still be annoying too sometimes. It all depends on if it's a good or bad day.

  • Thanks, interesting thoughts.Yeah, I started watching a bunch of TS videos in the summer and they started getting a lot worse. I wasn't sure if it was something mental or really Tourette's. My mom thinks they just get worse sometimes because of stress related issues not TS, still not sure.

  • Of course, I can't diagnose you, but I can say that the tics caused by TS increase in intensity in stressful situation, so your mom is partially right. But, don't rule out the possibility of TS.

  • Lol yeah, I started ticcing like crazy the same day I started watching her videos.

My tics will also act up whenever I see somebody with any kind of tremor or jerking movements.

  • @brianjeppesen

I'm really glad that you said that Brian! I thought that it was just me!! I was wondering "Why does it seem to mainly happen when I think about it or hear someone else talking about it?" I was worried that maybe it wasn't tics then. But now I know that that's just normal. So thanks for saying that! Haha! :D

  • Thanks Kristing. The important thing to remember is that what we have is more complex than any of us could know yet, so you should never doubt that what you have is normal for people with TS. We're all the same in the long run.

  • oh, no, i dont...:(

  • I have similar tics , its only can be tourette

  • sorry i kinda cut off

i thought i had bad sinuses or something, so yeah

  • yea, i think u have ts..but its cool...i guess..lol

  • umm, thanks!

  • i have the sniffing tic lol :D add me green :D

  • ok, gotcha!

  • definitly looks like tourettes!! was the sniffing a tic??

  • yeah it was, most of the vocal-ish tics w/ like the sniffing and throat clearing i started to recognize this summer, but now when i look back i thought i just had bad s
