Agh! Check out the bandwith requirements between the C910 Webcam or the VID Chat program and the B910 Webcam. Why should you need a higher bandwith while using the B910 compared to a C910? Why didn't you add the max FPS for 720p Videochat or 1080p Recording for the C910? Why did they miss its native maximum Resolution for the C910? HD my ***! On top of all, this isnt even a HD Video! Stop advertising and get reliable tech specs, Logitech! Get Serious! ;P

I see people doing the same complaint as you in every video review of this webcam,

but c'mom, it's also possible to upload 640 x 480 videos in HD format here.

There are some customers reviews here, you should check if you didn't,

since I think they are more trustworthy than these ones that they want to convince you to buy at any cost.

I'm planning to buy it via internet, otherwise I will have to pay 4x more than it costs. =\

bought their cheapest HD webcam. U need 2.4Ghz dual core and 3GB RAM to record HD. How can they be so resource hungry when handheld cameras, even Digital SLR cameras now, can shoot full HD at 60fps with hard-state technology? and probably a fraction of the power. Laptops at those speeds r yet to be affordable. AND they don't work on Mac. Sort it out Logitech!

Two questions: Does this particular Webcam run a CMOS or CCD sensor? Unlike CCD, CMOS has poor light gathering quality. Secondly, is there any in-built illumination on the 910 Webcam?, as if the Webcam is not running a CCD sensor its going to show poor image in low lighting conditions.

Thank's , like to see more 1080p 1920x1080 pixels WEBCAMS , what i find stupid it the fact this webcam are true 1080p BUT WEB CHATTING ARE LIMTED TO ONLY 720P ....if you think ..in final it no more advantage to have this 1080p or 720p cheap webcams because you are limited to CHEAP 720p WEB CHATTING...watever it a nice change to upgrade video chatting from 360p (320x240) like before to 720p , i hope in the future more 1080p webcams and web chatting are available on the market

@VicentiuB Most people who buy these cameras arent doing it only for web-chat. Streaming 1080p video is way ahead of average connections anyway. Indeed, a camera capable of recording 720p is half the price of a full HD camera.

Ya i know that , this webcam 1080p are listed for 99$ , and the 720p are listed for 59$ , for all people like me who have 55 inch FULL HD TV connected to pc with HDMI 1.3 connection for perfect cristal picture , it nice to have a 1080p option video chatting , now i'm buying the excelent and low price 720p webcam HD-5000 from MS , very good quality anyway on my FULL HD TV , and the LAST SKYPE version 4.2 it compatible with 720p HD video chatting with this MS model , i like that !!!

OK I understand that Skype charges the hardware maker money for Skype logo compatibility and SDK usage, but is it really better to use your own software for video conferencing? I really don't want to install different video conferencing software and even if I did, the person on the end won't have it. What I want to know is whether this at least supports 720P on Skype.

I have a Pentium Dual-Core @ 1.9ghz, 2gb ddr2 and a shitty intel family chipset 965

with my Microsoft HD-5000 and I can record at 720p

the guy that made this video used editing software and didn't set it up for HD content.. Maybe he has a slow connection and didn't want to upload a 1080p video.

@Lemonaderz For this model it does need a more powerful PC because the cost is kept down by not having the a H.264 Chip built into the Cam.

The C910 also promises crystal-clear stereo audio as it comes with two mics – one on either side of the webcam lens. To keep the C910’s price low, Logitech needs Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz with 2GB RAM or better, to double as a video compressor. A few other HD webcams (like the FV TouchCam N1 reviewed on page 5 ) take the other route by being equipped with an onboard H.264 encoder, but that adds to overall cost.

The response is no, I'm not amazed at all: the c910 is capable of 1080p but this video doesn't even have 720p option, why have you uploaded such a low resolution version?

Also, I'm sure you've used professional lighting costing more than 10 times the price of the webcam to shoot this video, anyway I'll still buy this product when it comes to Italy.

The price is good. 100 USD. But i also noticed that the connection type is the good old USB 2.0. So, ok the camera can transmit a video signal of 720p. The question is at which frame rate? I have a standard definition Logitech camera, and i had to lower the quality of the image too much, so the other person talking to me could see an actual video of me and not a slideshow. What i'm trying to say, is USB 2.0 is not fast enough for real time video transmission. Wait for USB 3.0 webcams!
