Timeless and forever shining gem of french music. Best of the early 70's. I used to enjoy this at 10 and so did my mother. Saint-Preux works in the 90's are also very interesting.

Sublime! Finally, the theme I remembered! Having already found this music in 1990 on a CD but played by an orchestra only, and only sometimes on a radio in the 80's, this is the version I was looking for, since I heard it with only 8 years old, used in a small church for the wedding of my brother's school teacher! Congratulations for the video mix, too! I'm now 48 and feeling that this really is that kind of music that can make your spine shiver! Thanks! :-)

According to my brother, this is the original recording by Saint-Preux. It came out in the late ´70s in France.

My nephew told me that he searched for the album in Paris, but it cannot be found even in shops specialized in old LPs.

I found out it is possible to order the CD from FNAC (Portugal) It was listed, but no in stock...

The author is Saint-Preux, he was 19 when he met Danielle Licari (the singer), and he decided that the piece would be sung instead of being played by a trumpet as it was intended -- millions of LPs were sold-- now it is hard to find one!
