  • I have always wanted to go turkey hunting I dont know why

  • solid tree.. lol what kind of broadhead were you using?

  • @nujerrzdevil Yes, very solid;-) I use the wasp bullet (fixed blade).

  • I have a question for ya, Nathan. Toward the end of this video, your Summit Climber is in the footage. It looks like you took the padding off it. Would you please elaborate on this for me? I've thought about doing that to my Summit Climbers, too. Do you store your seat pad separately from your climber? I'm curious about the details. Thanks, my friend.

  • @OutdoorsmanByDesign This is an earlier model of the summit bushmaster. It didn't come with the padding on the arms. I've hunted out of the new ones as well, and I can tell you that I'd be removing the padding. As for the seat, I've never removed it. It's like most of the summits where it is suspended by the straps, although not nearly as deep as the newer ones (straps not as long which is better for bowhunting). I know you're a summit man as well - I love them! Thanks for stopping by!

  • @hunterbydesign

Thanks for your detailed answer, Nathan. I appreciate it very much. Happy Huntin'!

  • Hey, Nathan. Just thought I'd stop by & "weigh in" on your video again, since my old channel is off the web. That's a huge thumbs up from me, my brother. Pretty amazing stuff. This one's goin' in my favorites.

  • Nice shot, Robin Hood...

  • awsome job! pimpin hunt... RIP to the turkey & ur tree arrow. lol

  • Thanks! LOL.

  • 5 stars & a favorite from me. You do some great video work. What an awesome shot on that turkey, too. That's pretty amazing, from a treestand, with all those eyes looking on. I, too, love Summit climbers. I have the Broadhead Backpacker & Open Shot. I didn't notice a seat cusion on your climber. Do you stand during your hunts? I'm going to have to look into one of those cameras. I really don't want to use my Sony Handycam.

  • Thanks a lot! Grateful for the kind words. My summit is the backpacker or something like that - it's similar to the open shot - it does have a nice seat - just no backpad.

  • Great video. What kind of camera did you use to shoot the video. Its really clear.

  • Thanx. My camera is a sony digital, 8mm and to be honest, I can't tell you the model cause it's all covered with camo duct tape!! It really does awesome & it's 9 yrs old!! Sony has a loyal customer in me.

  • LOL I've taken a couple trees myself but I prefer the taste of turkey. Man, great shot and footage on that bird, well done!

  • Yeah, I agree, turkey is a bit more tender ;-) Thanks a lot for the kind words!

  • How many tree tags do you have? lol!

Great shot on that Hen! Looks like a real nice spot there!

    5*s

  • Hopefully I used my only one!!

  • great looking spot you got there, great shot/vid!sounds like those deer were close!theyll be back

  • Thanks for watching!

  • lol, nice bird and tree!!! never knew there were turkey and deer seasons at the same time. nice job with the vid, congrats!

  • Yeah, that tree was a beauty wasn't it?? Thanks for watching!

  • Great shot on an alert bird!! I also use the Gorilla tree pod but I removed the all plastic cheap head on it and replaced it with a fluid video head. Works alot better now.

  • Thanks! Good idea!

  • I've had a couple of opportunities at turkeys this year and couldn't get it done so congrats!!!! I use the Gorilla arm as well and really like it.....5*

  • Thanks!
