  • Paul: "I am nothing without Christ"

This guy: "You are nothing without Christ"

Though it sounds similar, it is two different messages.

  • Amen! great Word!

  • MLK was one trouble-making pain-in-the-ass SON-OF-A-BITCH !! Good Riddance !!

  • In humbleness as a soldier for Christ I completely disagree with your message. This message does not seem like the love of Christ, heck you might as well just start hitting people over the head with bibles. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR! Establish REAL RELATIONSHIPS with the Lubbock Homeless before your PRIDE distorts your "Gospel" message. Please not that I know more homeless that are closer to the Lord than most professing Christians in the church buildings.

  • are these Christians in the backgroudn???!

  • This was a gathering of different churches in the city that wanted to draw attention to the homeless problem. These were professing Christians that seemed to be offended by the Gospel.

  • GREAT message! I'm VERY concerned that this may be the direction my church is headed in! Yes, it's important to reach out to the homeless & starving, but the REAL gospel is sharing what God has done for a world that is separated from a holy God by their sin.

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we still sinners, Christ died for us." Rom. 5:8

"This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

    1 John 4:10

  • Samuel 15:3 God commands the death of helpless "suckling" infants. This literally means that the children god killed were still nursing.

Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 Here god is praised for slaughtering little babies.

Psalms 137:9 Here god commands that infants should be dashed upon the rocks.

That is not a loving "God"

  • I encourage you to really look in to those situations that are being talked about. Read them in context. please.

  • you typed this to be a blasphemer not a bible interpreter you don't understand the Gospel. And with that attitude you never will

  • If my teens were one of those in the back, someone would be grounded, and I would have them examine themselves.

That was not showing a respect for the Gospel of our Lord.

  • Whintly Phips? Great video.

  • Yes, it is.

  • Psalms 137:8-9 Prayer/song of vengeance 0 daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

  • all you are is death/murder/hatred/ you are nothing but anger. Christ speaks of mercy and forgivness in every single book of the bible...Get your reading straight

  • AWESOME BROTHER,,,,,,the preaching of the gospel is foolishness to them that are perishing.....it was not coincident that you were preaching to the church goers...that take pride in there works.

  • How can you confuse a self-righteous person, with someone who asks for evidence. Any logic ???

  • Repentandtrust: "The reason the world is in the state that it is in is due to the sinfulness of man "

This I must consider BS. untill you give evidence.

  • "This I must consider BS. untill you give evidence."

    look at your selfish life

your self-righteous attitude, "I'm always right",

    and theres your proof.

  • If the gospel is a "cure" how come, after 2.000 years of gospel, the world is in such a state ?

  • The reason the world is in the state that it is in is due to the sinfulness of man in his rejection of Gods perfect will. However, this (the state the world is in now) is all part of Gods plan to achieve his perfect will, which is to save mankind and have a kingdom to give Him glory.

  • Also you have to balance street ministry with the fact that most of these people have heard the gospel hundreds of times. What they haven't seen is true love ... a true friend. Maybe they'll be more likely to receive the gospel when they see how much you care.

  • I agree with the premise of this movie.

But ... should we really share the gospel every single time we do something for someone else? That makes it seem like you don't really care about that person -- you're just doing this to save a soul and get your points in heaven.

Paul ask christians to be winsome and to give a WORD in season.

I think needy people will respect you a lot more if you're just there to help .. and if you see an opportunity to share -- use it. Don't beat them over the head.

  • Paul's statement is:

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine" (2 Tim. 4:2).

Be instant - in the original language conveyed urgency, preparedness, and readiness.

In season, out of season - is a call to Gospel proclamation even when it is not popular, convenient, or suitable.

A true Christian will find himself in the throws of Jeremiah 20:9

  • Repent and: You realise that the writings of paul have no more value than the writings of your sunday pastor. Because that`s what he was an early-christian pastor or preacher.

  • Christ Saves!

  • The reason this is not good is becouse this is a gathering of people buy what I can comprehend has already ben saved, gathering for a cause for the homeless people of that community. And as you can see these epople are not paying attntion he just keeps talking to the air like he's talking to everyone but no one is listening, lol. at least no one animals where harmed making this video.

  • If his sexual preference may be of his on sexual organ, they are okay to be talked down upon. One love, one heart, one unity, black or white, brown or purple, straight or grey, muslim or jewish. Jah taught me to love all of his creations, not to pick and choose what might be acceptable and what is not. ALL CREATURES. The christian religion is filled with hypocrites, try to practice what you preach. I follow Jah if i'm damned by your religion so be it, I live a good life thanks to Jah not jesus.

  • What is the bible? It's a bunch of stories compiled to show how a person should live their life. How dare any of you have the audacity to say, that if I don't bow to your god I will go to hell. If I don't believe in what you do I will go to hell. Jah is my god, Jah is my savior, Jah preaches everything you should. Jah opened my eyes to the world the christians try to run, and i'm sickened. Love and respect your fellow man, if he believes in what you do. If not it's ok to heckle and beat them.

  • I Thank God For making me see NOW!

    I AM NO LONGER BLIND!

In My past i thought i was cured but NO!

If I were Cured Before then Why is it just now that i REALY SEE WHO IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND WHO IS NOT ON THE RIGHT SIDE!

GOD I SEE NOW HOW LITTLE AMOUNT OF THE POEPLE OF THE WORLD WILL ENTER YOUR KINGDOM!

THANK YOU GOD FOR REVEALING YOUR TRUE WORDS TO ME! I LOVE YOU GOD!

  • Homeless ,Jesus was homeless

  • This man is being faithful to the gospel message of Jesus Christ, but notice how all these good people are showing him their backs.

Once while talking to a group of friends who profess to be believers,I urged them the same way this man does.Someone said "everything doesn't have to be about the gospel".

    Isn't the gospel what it's ALL about,if we're Christians?

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world and yet lose his soul?

Are we so ashamed of our Lord?God help us!

  • The gospel is absolutely necessary. I have a homeless friend who is an alcoholic. I can and do offer him practical help, but until he is ready to receive Jesus (I have shared the gospel with him numerous times), he will continue to go back to his situation. He constantly talks about how other people did him wrong, but he cannot yet recognize his own responsibility and repent before God.

  • Do we fix their tempary problems or problems with their eternal soul? I say deal with thier eternal soul. Do we need to take care of them, YES, but we need to preach the Gospel and this is the right approach.

  • There's a very interesting video discussion going on among The Gospel Coalition... addressing both sides of this point, to ensure we get it right... biblically. You could find it at IndyChristian (dot) com.

  • excellent point

  • great open air preaching, praise the Lord

  • Acts 17-30In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."

  • thanks for the message, where is your home church...?
