That's terrible ! This woman is dreadful !

They may work in one way. They tear the top layer of skin, across your nose causing damage. Best way to remove black heads is the steam your face to open the pore and gently squeeze them out. never force it harshly.

When you're done with the open pores. splash cold water on your face. it will close the pores preventing any bacteria to get in.

If you want advice. please don't hesitate to ask.

pore strips remove mainly sebum, but they do remove blackheads, using a masque on your nose when you go to bed 2-3 times a week will help better.

my boyfriend uses them and he gets a ton of blackheads on the biore strips. he has oily skin and i think it works better on oilier skin types than drier types. this isn't the best way to get comedones out. it's better to go to a high end salon and get a steamed facial and use a comedone extractor. i'm a newly licensed esthetician.

You are not supposed to rip it off like that. You can easily damage the skin, even rip off a layer and end up with broken skin. We are not waxing the nose here. I use Biores Deep Pore cleansing strips and the package says to "Slowly and carefully peel off the strip starting with the outer edges" Only do this once every three days.

@HijabiMC a good way to mimic the biore strips is to get a teaspoon of unflavored jello and a teaspoon of milk, mix it together in a cup. Heat the mixture up for 10 seconds then apply it to the face. Let it dry and pill it off. Works way better. :)

You can. I believe Biore makes forehead shaped strips that may work better for coverage. Personally, I prefer to steam my face (boil water, pour into a bowl, toss a towel over your head and lean over the bowl for 10 min to open the pores). Apply the Biore strip Or use a peel off mask.

You also don't have to brutally rip the thing off like this woman does. She's a bit over-the-top and her method could actually take healthy skin off, resulting in skin damage / scarring.
