Tricky is an awesome lyricist (and that's putting it lightly) as well as innovative "musician" (or beat creator lol). You won't get your verse chorus verse with 16 looped bars. If that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of 50 cent videos on YouTube.
@TheDreadC This is a live performance. The thing is about his liver performances you never really know what he's going to do. He does punk and rap and trip-hop He's recorded both genres too. He's also done covers of both genres. If you want to see an awesome live performance of tricky rapping check out the mtv awards performance from the mid 90s of "the letter"; A Public Enemy cover done in a jazzy trippy style. It's what made me take notice of him.
In my opinion this version is more intense than the female version. Great song either way, no need for an argument. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I think he's the most fascinating artist in music. It's too easy to call him ' the devil " and all that rubbish. He's an artist expressing himself and you'll NEVER pin him down. He's too tricky.
This is from a documentary about Tricky called 'Naked and Famous'(?1997). This makes a lot more sense in the context of the whole film. I would love to get hold it from somewhere
