Beatles????? John Lennon and George Harrison both said they would rather be a Stone, Hendrix , Steven Tyler, Pete Townshend and Eric Clapton as well. Lads We're talking about the best of the legends, love the Stones, fuck the Beatles were good, come on,but I mean really quite boring in comparison.

@snowshoetom so very true. once Brian Jones was fired from the stones, and yet even worse passed away shortly after it really gave the stones a different look. with brian they were such a dynamic band. he could play so many different instruments giving each hit they made something special to it. but all threw the 70s the stones didn't do as well as the 60s mainly because thier songs all consisted of just guitar drums bass and vocals. they didnt have brians multi talented instrumental skills.
@jenniandrea1 He played all the weird instruments on the early records - sitar on paint it black, clavinet on lady jane, accordion on backstreet girl...
I like how mick is all sheepish about pain it black.

Whose brilliant idea was it to utterly skip The Who? They're awesome. Besides, you must admit, this seems to all be lip synched.
4rainbowed 2 years ago
not lip synched. live vox over the recorded songs.

he reminds me of a pale version of Mr.J.Brown!!!
or a light caliber of "Mr.Voice" (Tom Jones)

Brian plays and looks so good. That is why he is the Golden Stone.

Live vocals - pre-recorded music. That is the way it was done in the 60s - not bad.

@ovechkin100 It was Brian's suberb musicianship contributing to this phenomenon, not "simply" his ability to play many instruments.
