  • @danceoffAsh hey do you know how to use one instance of Kontakt 5 for multiple tracks in Mixcraft 5? Right now, I am opening the kontakt player on every track but that consumes alot of CPU resources.

  • thanks mate great video very helpful

  • Not cool, using this tutorial, it deleted all my classic vst effects and now i can't find them. Tell me where i can re download them asap.

  • Ive installed vsts before, but this one wont work. Its the addictive drums demo. I did exactly what you did in this video, but it isnt there, nor is it a virtual instrument

  • I have around 20-30 vst's. When I download I new vst and re-scan only 3 vst's shows up (out of all vst's, inc. the old ones). I have to repair (controlpanel) mixcraft to get them to work again

  • @coollein The main thing is that a VST file ends in .DLL...so does every other bit of code and programs...so it would take forever to scan every DLL. Our scan searches for folders that sound like it could be a VST folder....However, you may have to manually add each folder that contains your VST files. Hope that helps.

  • @acoustica222 I've tried both letting mixcraft search and adding the folders locations myself

  • @coollein You should contact our support for more indepth troubleshooting. Make sure to send them your log file, as well.

  • @acoustica222 Where can I find the log file?

Thanks for helping by the way

  • @acoustica222 I've tried both letting mixcraft search and adding the folders locations myself

  • There is another way to put VST plugins into mixcraft. Just go into Mycomputer-> Program files-> Acoustica misxcraft 4/5 (depending on which you have)-> then VST.

After that just drag in your folders/ files. :)

  • @ObscurumIntus Yes, that is basically the same thing, just a different folder and drag/drop rather than cut/paste.

The reason I say to put the vst's in a generic folder like c:\program files\vst is so that other software can be pointed to them as well.

  • Very nice! Thank you!

But I do wonder if you know where I can find more free VST effects for download..?

  • @PrinceBlueberry Youtube won't allow me to post this link, so put this together in your browser address bar 3 double you's dot d e m o n d i g i t a l . c o m in the software section there is a plugins page

  • simply best software
