Lets face FACTS : MPVs are NOT meant for speed as they are family carriers. Anyway, 180km/h is NOT slow....and then try emergency brakes....I don't want to imagine. YOU and FAMILY are more important than ANY MPV!!

what i saw is , this Livina need to work really hard just to reach 180kmj..

its quite shame if u are compare to Proton Exora which is just using the 1.6l CPS dat really easy to reach 170km/j .

Even the Exora have the bigger body than Livina aith the 0.2cc less than Livina . i think CPS much better than this..

@MultiAlong89 serious?? my sister she's having 1 proton persona which using the same campro engine... but with lighter body than exora.... for me , even on persona the engine also need to work quite hard to reach 150... i'm nt saying it cant reach 170... just how long it take to reach that?? with 125hp to drag a 16XX kg of weight , with 4AT transmission... and also the higher air drag of exora...

grand livina is meant for family use and city driving. even the 1.8 is a bit underpower , probably it wil hit 190km/h , but only under specific condition, maybe downhill... somemore it's nt very stable under high speed.

Your are stressing the engine piston,not good for your engines as you reaching to the top speed then maintanin driving.

Nope but your car, the livina is not meant to do that, faults will start from the pistons if ya not carefull.. maybe not now, maybe in 3-4 yrs time..

i do have a livina 1.8 btw.. ;) .. i know it can go as fast as what u've shown, but i prefer to drive casual.. if i wanna speed, i'd try in my other car, citroen zx 16v.. i've done major mods to them for speed thrills, 6.4 sec 0-100, and my fastest was 245kmph... ok la for a zx (15 year old car)..

malaysian highways are nice...btw did you know that your tyre has a code for how fast you are allowed to go? what's you tyre code? if i'm not mistaken, stock tyres r usually made to take speeds up to 180 kph...that's a code 'S'
