Try listening to their debut album, "Behind Silence and Solitude," which doesn't have any clean vocals. "This Darkened Heart" has a similar sound and better production, but it does have a minimal amount of clean vocals.

Also, you may want to try the older work of In Flames (The Jester Race, Whoracle, Colony).

I really don't see any point to the whole OMG they are going mainstream crap just because basically Forever in Your Hands and Two Weeks are on the album haha. Both are great albums but this album is undeniably metal and no true "metal" band these days makes it into the mainstream except for Disturbed who is considered alternative metal. Avenged Sevenfold just sucks haha. Overcome was just ATR's most melodic album so far, it's not pussing out to write some damn good catchy choruses and riffs.
