i lover her,she was so sexy in a time when blacks was only maids and butlers and serve white people she could do and be like her counterparts but racism stopped her,if she was alive today she would be tame by todays standards and that is sad cuz there is too much sexiness and she would have to be like the others to survive,show bizzness sucks
@Motownman100 Was blessed to know of her before I went to school...not many knew of her until Halle Berry came out with the movie..which is pretty sad. They either forgot about her or never heard of her at all.
@dorothyjeandandridge you know ,youre right it is sad . i didn't know about her even in 1999 when the film came out... i just came across her in 8th grade two years ago , when my teacher made me do a report on her ....Now it seems like im obsessed with her (i know the whole film of Carmen Jones word for word)
@TsalagiAgvnage It amazes me how she lights up the stage because she was such a nervous wreck just before appearing in front of an audience. Such a talent to pull that off.
