Your story with K-pop is much like my own, though I first heard Brown Eyed Girls when I got "Sign" off Usenet. I liked it, but it was "Abracadabra" that got me hooked, and I must have seen the stage version a hundred times in two weeks, and this was only in April of 2010, so I was a little behind. However, for me it's more of a reintroduction to K-pop. My first exposure was way back in 1996 with Clon's "Kkungttari shabara".
