@coley4evr Oscars eat fish (at least in this case they do) but why not feed your oscar something less...alive. Like, the dead bugs that they sell at pet stores. Or just plain Oscar Food.

i currently feed bloodworm, mealworm, live shrimps, and high-quality tropical fish flakes to my tiger osca, hes only 4inch atm. is there any specific food that anyone can recommend which will really kick start and rapidly speed my tiger Oscars growth/encourage it?

hey just be carefull when u get the feeders from the store i have had oscars for more then i can remember and sometimes the feeders have internal problems witch lead to worse problems for the oscar and that gets very stressing not only for the oscar but u aswell , other then that thats a really nice oscar and looks really healthy!

lol That's one smart and stubborn goldfish. Notice how he swims away even when the Oscar is moving slowly. Oh, and I don't think it's mean to feed him goldfish or any other kind of small fish because it's natural for animals to eat other animals. In fact most live bearers will eat their own young.
