  • i have 2 blue cathode lights how do you make them 'dance' to the music?

  • @09dannydful it is called a Cold Cathode Sound Activated Module I bought it from xoxide . com for $5.99 plus shipping

  • @Doyle2k5 :( they dont seem to sell them in the UK, damn that sucks

  • @09dannydful check out ebay they probably have some on there somewhere. if not there, try to google sound activated cathode. there has to be a UK store out there somewhere! good luck finding it

  • is that runescape

  • @nascar51523fan world of warcraft in shattrah city haha

  • @Doyle2k5 i don't see any difference

  • looks like your chillen in shattrah city ;D

  • hey bro whats that song that you were blasting?

  • @beatlesfan21 it is a remix to the song U & Dat by E-40. I dont remember which remix though i dont have it on my computer anymore

  • which ones did you get, cn u get me a link? affordable?

  • u gotta love the logitech 5.1 man. ;)

  • Dude that is awesome. Notice all the Bacardi in the first light haha

  • haha, had to throw a couple of those out to make room for a couple patron bottles ;)

  • i was wondering if u could tell what lights u were using on this vid?

and do u need any software for the lights to detect the music?

    thanks tom

  • i have 2 12in Dual Blue Cold Cathodes with a Cold Cathode Sound Activated Module both of which i bought from xoxide. com just mouse over computer lighting and click on cold cathodes

  • hows the sound work with them? like do they have to be near speakers or does it get sound directly from the computer?

  • it has to be near the speakers, not directly near it, just sorta close. you can turn the sensitivity up or down so they can pick up the sound from the speakers from a decent distance if you wanted

  • i just ordered 3 of these and a 420 watt power supply, and im wondering will their be enough power conncecters it takes to connect 3 of them?

  • I think you can connect 1 into the other, such as plug the first into the power supply connector, the next into the 1st one, and the third into the second one

  • nice stuff u hav going on man !!!!

i just bought 4 of those lights, dont know where to plant them yet. i really dig ur song in this video. Who sing that song??? (what remix??)

  • its some remix to u and dat by e-40. i cant find it anymore.. i had to reformat my computer so i lost it.. damn, it is such a good remix song, wish i could find it again

  • i got these the other day and installed them and they work but they don't turn fully off and then come back with the music. they just flicker to the beat of the music. i was wondering if anyone knew why they don't flash as well as they do in this video. btw, my sensitivity knob for the lights is as high as it goes. if i go any lower, they don't flash at all, they just stay on as if the switch was set to "on" and not "sound activated"

  • You should get more colours :P like green, red, purple :D

  • thats really cool, im thinking of getting some cathodes. Can you tell me how long youve had them? a lot of people say they just break really soon. Also I would like to see their sound activation effects on other stuff than hiphop since all the cathode videos are like that. Could you possibly play some metal and see how the lights react? Also have you tried playing FPS (fallout3, crysis, CS, COD ) with the lights?

  • I've had them now for quiet a while. I currently have 6 of them, 4 of which I've had for over a year. I also changed my setup a lot since I recorded that video. I bought a 22 inch lcd screen and mounted 2 of those cathode lights on the back of it. I'll have to make a video of that sometime soon, maybe I'll do it while playing a FPS, it looks amazing :)

  • nice i put mine everywhere in the case behind the monitor behind my bed and under it

  • hey dude, nice vid. i've just bought 6 blue sound cathodes and fitted 4 in my x-cruiser case and put 2 behind my monior for surround lighting..works extreamly well if u play alot of games like crysis, cod4, ..well any game with guns and alot of noise.. dont think it would have the same affect on WoW tho but worth a try lol

    nice vid.

  • how do u hook em up i cant find a 12volt source

  • i hook em up to my computer, 4 pin molex and just run the cord out of my case to the back of my computer desk

  • Very nice!

Got your own disco in your room lol.

    Very good!
