Great video! The only improvement I would recommend is to use a store brand mouthwash. The reason is that less people will be familiar with the brand and the actual color. Great color match with the Listerine though! Also, packing more than one large bottle of mouthwash per person may be suspicious LOL

Why not just take empty a 1L bottle of water and pour the alcohol in there? One of my friends did it on one of our cruises and it worked, not a problem at all. Didn't get caught or anything! Besides, we could walk around with it in the hallway, say to another cabin where some of our friends were. Can't do that with a bottle of Listerin, would look funny!

We also have done it with Listerine - but in the white opaque bottle - Listerine Whitening Mouthwash, that way you dont need to colour it. Works every time!!!

Its funny all these people who never been on cruise ships, telling you how you're gonna get caught and how stupid it looks... i just went on a 3 day and spent over 250 on drinks and can't say i was trashed not one second. and i'm skinny. so this is about a $200 money saver first off

second, cruise ship security is walking through a metal detector and putting your carry on through x-ray. i got locks on my bags and they didn't even open them. this is the greatest idea ever!!!

@JRRochon Get a knife and cut around the bottom until it is easy to turn. At that time, you should be able to gently lift the seal without breaking it. I did not even have to use a knife though, I was able to just slip it off when I did it.

Oh, wow, they'll never think to look in the completely non-suspicious 2 large bottles of listerine. Oldest trick in the book and when they call you down to open your luggage that never arrived, you'll see all the other bottle of listerine thy weren't fooled by. Not going to work around spring break when security higher. Otherwise it may or may not work, but other methods work better.

Just got off the allure of the seas, worked like a charm! ..... The only problem was the vodka tasted like Listerine!!!!!!!.. even though I washed the bottle and air dried it several days? My suggestion is " taste it before you leave!.. I had to pour it down the sink.. The allure has 6000 guests.that's about 10,000 pieces of luggage... Its impossible to inspect all that luggage..I also put 2 bottles of wine in my suitcase ...Just pack your booze in your suitcase..I doubt you will have a proble

Smart Idea, I did the same thing for norwegian in January, instead of mouth wash i bought 4 liter bottles of Bubbles (at the dollar store) emptied it out n put the liquor in, it was a party cruise so no one thought twice and left the little bubble wond or stick in to make it believable out of all 4, 3 bottles got in 1 from a "random check"
