Heh I remember being at the shore when I was 3-4 years old... it was my first time, and a wave knocked me down and some salt water got into my mouth... and I totally freaked out and was screaming "Poison!! Poison!" and cried (you wouldn't have liked me at that age!), because I just knew water wasn't supposed to taste like that!! I don't think I even knew what salt was yet.
That's really interesting that the hand-flapping was identifiable at that early of an age. I don't even know if I flap.
