How patronizing is this! If it takes 24 lessons to get this far
you'll be able to order dinner by the time your 90. At university I could hold a conversation in Japanese and write 1000 chinese characters after 6 months study. Go to happy Jelly fish if you wanna learn Cantonese coz no native will ever genuinely try and teach you. They want to maintain the myth that it is intrinsically difficult to learn. There is one consolation you do look nice!
I don't think she expects you to use her lessons are your sole way of learning Cantonese. That's ridiculous, and you're dumb for even thinking so. These are just small doses of lessons to improve your vocabulary. geez. take that rock out of your butt before it turns into a diamond.
Sorry to criticize someone so cute and well meaning but I have become a little frustrated with the lack of progress I have been making in Cantonese and it is, despite current opinion it is psycologically healthier to blame failure on others. Especially if self denial means you don't give up! You never know we may both have a diamond up our butts. Certainly removing the rock maybe fun but keeping it there in the hope it turns into a diamond is quite a good idea. Thanks!

it almost sounds like you're saying gaau3 din2 in the video, but I think it's supposed to be gaau3 jin2..
