sucks...where's ronny montrose???? ya never hear sammy talk about the man who got his shit started.....sammy can't even cover a song that he sang.....sad shit...
I'm looking for a Canon G10. lol wow. nice. The only thing I would do different is take my Mac and enhance the audio. Try it - get a friend (if you don't have one) to put this even in a stock program like iMovie and go to audio equalizer or the presets and just tweak till you knock the high pitched fuzz and bring up the bass a tad. Re-upload THAT and you will have the sweetest Vid of Chickenfoot ever. Make it blow people's comp speakers out if they don't turn it down! lol
wow!! It must be different for michael to stay in beat with satriani after being in sync with EVH for 30 years!!! they play so much different!!!! I think Satriani is better at being an instrumentalist than with a band!!!!! No disrespect!!! I love them all!!!! Just my opinion!!! God Bless!!!
Obviously you have never seen Satriani Live..check out the DVD and and put a pillow under you chin so when it hits the floor you won't lose any teeth.
i seen satriani live in the mid eighties with bon jvi opening for deep purple my god the man ruled the show his guitar was all i remembered and i had no idea who he was then .I was very lucky too catch that show with him .One of the best shows I ever seen that run away song lol way back then
Your right...When I first heard the CD it was a totally different Joe. I kept waiting for some of that great blues stuff he does on his solo Cd's. Although I like what he does as a guitar player fitting in with these other great musicians. I guess I found it hard to cross over to him just being part of the act instead of being the act. I see your point and a very good one it was. No hatin here..that one is on me. Be Blessed!!
@Penz0r You know, I saw Joe with Eric Johnson on G1 tour. Watched Eric Johnson play White Cliffs to perfection (just like the album with added licks) and his fingers a blur. Joe got on stage with Stu Hamm and Jonathan Mover. There were some people that actually left because he was so bad. I almost left myself. Hamm saved the night with a smoking bass solo..

honestly , they sound like an average Montrose tribute band...... ah well, they should improve over the years ( oh wait , they will wrap it up after one tour) pity....big pity
no shit dude , i know who they are, i heard the chickenfoot album the day it was released, i'm saying that in this performance they sound like some average montrose tribute band... make sense to you now ? stronzo
Agree about all comments and this was an excellent show. They were having a ton of fun, getting crazy and the energy was awesome. Satriani and Chad Smith are the perfect addition to Sammy and Michael. Fan of the Foot.
I was right in front of Mikey all night long....What a great show it was.....But my videos sucked on my blackberry...i didnt know i could take a good camera....any chance you could send me some vids?
Completely agree with Greg. I was in the balcony on Mikey's side right in front of the stairs and had a great view. Loved the show and the songs. Can't wait for the 5th!

I have much respect for Satriani, sir.I ,however, will not elevate him to a deitic status because he' an excellent Axe-shredder.

Thank you, sir.I think the potential for Chickenfoot is excellent as a band, though.maybe seeing them in concert might be worth it.

Oh WOW, I didn't expect that to be so good. Thanks for uploading this, I'm definitely getting tickets now.

Saying this sounds like "an average Montrose cover band" just goes to say how little you know about music overall :) Satriani remains a God.

Their not trying to be a cover band dumbass.
It's Satriani, Smith, Anthony, and Hagar. Not Montrose dumbass.

No. My memory card isn't that big. I need to invest in a 16 GB. Then again, it sucks filming and not watching the actual show.
ralphcardone 2 years ago
@ralphcardone Amen to that, brother! Filming or shooting in a show takes it away. I just shot a KISS show and wished I wasn't every second!
