  • black country communion > chickenfoot. For material and talent

  • I was there. Chad Smith is one violent drummer.

  • It would be interesting to see these guys open up for the "new" VH! What an interesting night that would be...

  • an average montrose cover band wat r u talking about this is 10 times better than montrose

  • this is a hundred times better than montrose version amazing

  • Satch, although technically amazing, doesn't quite nail the rock/blues thing.

  • Peavey Powerslide!

  • sucks...where's ronny montrose???? ya never hear sammy talk about the man who got his shit started.....sammy can't even cover a song that he sang.....sad shit...

  • chad smith sounds like...way off, here

  • I'm looking for a Canon G10. lol wow. nice. The only thing I would do different is take my Mac and enhance the audio. Try it - get a friend (if you don't have one) to put this even in a stock program like iMovie and go to audio equalizer or the presets and just tweak till you knock the high pitched fuzz and bring up the bass a tad. Re-upload THAT and you will have the sweetest Vid of Chickenfoot ever. Make it blow people's comp speakers out if they don't turn it down! lol

  • Better Version!! >> Sammy Hagar Live - Bad Motor Scooter. (All Night Long 5/5)

  • wow!! It must be different for michael to stay in beat with satriani after being in sync with EVH for 30 years!!! they play so much different!!!! I think Satriani is better at being an instrumentalist than with a band!!!!! No disrespect!!! I love them all!!!! Just my opinion!!! God Bless!!!

  • No Sh**, What a great group and performance. Thanks for this....

  • @jamexxxxxx and you listen to Kylie M....dont come back.

  • @richee10 - Exactly. Thank you. He's a fucking wanker.

  • I partied with Chad Smith before he made it.

Chad remember that student at Music Castle.

    The naked one.

    LOL

  • F@*k YEAH!!!!!! Can't wait for the DVD!

  • Too much guitar !!!!

  • I was right there! Awesome performance!

  • always loved this song and sammy has not lost a beat this group is mega great sound !!!!!.............

  • How cool it must have been to see these "Legends" so close and personal.

Sammy still is one of the best frontmen in rock! Satriani,Anthony, Smith, what a super group.

  • I think even Ronnie might be proud of this version. Very tasty. Oh what might have been!

  • Great song! Great camera footage!!

  • i don't give a shit what anyone says about these guys ....they kick major ass!!!!!! love it!!!

  • hell ya, im seeing these guys tomorrow!

  • FUCKING A RIGHT !!

  • fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Satriani a God??? Whatever....I didn't realize the guitar could induce such a dietic transformation becayse he sure looks human to me.

  • Obviously you have never seen Satriani Live..check out the DVD and and put a pillow under you chin so when it hits the floor you won't lose any teeth.

  • I have much respect for Satriani, sir.I ,however, will not elevate him to a deitic status because he' an excellent Axe-shredder.

  • i seen satriani live in the mid eighties with bon jvi opening for deep purple my god the man ruled the show his guitar was all i remembered and i had no idea who he was then .I was very lucky too catch that show with him .One of the best shows I ever seen that run away song lol way back then

  • Your right...When I first heard the CD it was a totally different Joe. I kept waiting for some of that great blues stuff he does on his solo Cd's. Although I like what he does as a guitar player fitting in with these other great musicians. I guess I found it hard to cross over to him just being part of the act instead of being the act. I see your point and a very good one it was. No hatin here..that one is on me. Be Blessed!!

  • Thank you, sir.I think the potential for Chickenfoot is excellent as a band, though.maybe seeing them in concert might be worth it.

  • Oh WOW, I didn't expect that to be so good. Thanks for uploading this, I'm definitely getting tickets now.

  • Saying this sounds like "an average Montrose cover band" just goes to say how little you know about music overall :) Satriani remains a God.

  • Word.

  • Sammy wrote that song some 35 years ago when he was in Montrose.

  • @Penz0r You know, I saw Joe with Eric Johnson on G1 tour. Watched Eric Johnson play White Cliffs to perfection (just like the album with added licks) and his fingers a blur. Joe got on stage with Stu Hamm and Jonathan Mover. There were some people that actually left because he was so bad. I almost left myself. Hamm saved the night with a smoking bass solo..

  • Their not trying to be a cover band dumbass.

It's Satriani, Smith, Anthony, and Hagar. Not Montrose dumbass.

  • no shit dude , i know who they are, i heard the chickenfoot album the day it was released, i'm saying that in this performance they sound like some average montrose tribute band... make sense to you now ? stronzo

  • satriani 4 president in 2012.

  • Did you manage to tape the whole show?

  • No. My memory card isn't that big. I need to invest in a 16 GB. Then again, it sucks filming and not watching the actual show.

  • @ralphcardone Amen to that, brother! Filming or shooting in a show takes it away. I just shot a KISS show and wished I wasn't every second!

  • Agree about all comments and this was an excellent show. They were having a ton of fun, getting crazy and the energy was awesome. Satriani and Chad Smith are the perfect addition to Sammy and Michael. Fan of the Foot.

  • What awesome HQ video! Could you tell us what camera you were using?? Please??

  • Sure. A Canon G9. I believe it's been replaced by the G10.

  • This concert was awesome. Four guys having a good time playing great music. Can't wait for the album.

  • I was right in front of Mikey all night long....What a great show it was.....But my videos sucked on my blackberry...i didnt know i could take a good camera....any chance you could send me some vids?

  • I had a great view on joe's side in the back

  • Completely agree with Greg. I was in the balcony on Mikey's side right in front of the stairs and had a great view. Loved the show and the songs. Can't wait for the 5th!

  • What a great concert that was. Especially in a nice small place too
