I think the the developers of MW3 are making not many changes to the game because the CoD community didn't want that much changes to an already great game, so basically they gave what the community what it wanted. That's really no reason to hate on a game. The community gets what it wants. BF3 is about bringing a different style of gameplay to those who dont like the run and gun style of CoD. Look at the logic, they create a new engine for a nice console spinoff for fun, the engine turns out to be real fucking good, so they make it for the pc, to test for future games. i.e. battlefield 3. Then they scrap the engine and put the good things with new and improved aspects. My only problem with cod is that they always just build off the next engine, therefore almost a waste of money.
@JR21117 I think the real purpose of Bad Company 1 was so DICE could popularize the Battlefield franchise on consoles to get the most sales out of BF3(since BF3 development began in 2008). They then made Bad Company 2 to top it off with some extra money. Once their reputation was solidified, they announced BF3.
These are similar marketing techniques used by Infinity Ward when making CoD, CoD 2, and CoD4. Basically, BF3 is gonna be the CoD 4 of the BF franchise.

@releb101 That's because Black Ops and World at War aren't the same people who made MW2 and CoD 4. If you remove Black Ops and World at War from the equation, then the differences of CoD 4 and MW2 are large, and probably more so with MW3 to MW2.

I'm hearing alot of you COD fanboys saying that you will buy BF3, which kinda scares me. OK, before you even think about playing BF3 there are some rules you need to know:
1. This is a team work game, lone-wolfing wont do shit.
2. Sorry no killstreaks, man up and fly that damn jet yourself.
3. Guns have realistic recoil, so dont exspect to do 360, backflip no-scopes.
4. Maps are HUGE, so plan on walking long distances at times.
5. Dont camp too long, that house wont be there forever

I think the the developers of MW3 are making not many changes to the game because the CoD community didn't want that much changes to an already great game, so basically they gave what the community what it wanted. That's really no reason to hate on a game. The community gets what it wants. BF3 is about bringing a different style of gameplay to those who dont like the run and gun style of CoD. Look at the logic, they create a new engine for a nice console spinoff for fun, the engine turns out to be real fucking good, so they make it for the pc, to test for future games. i.e. battlefield 3. Then they scrap the engine and put the good things with new and improved aspects. My only problem with cod is that they always just build off the next engine, therefore almost a waste of money.

@JR21117 I think the real purpose of Bad Company 1 was so DICE could popularize the Battlefield franchise on consoles to get the most sales out of BF3(since BF3 development began in 2008). They then made Bad Company 2 to top it off with some extra money. Once their reputation was solidified, they announced BF3.
These are similar marketing techniques used by Infinity Ward when making CoD, CoD 2, and CoD4. Basically, BF3 is gonna be the CoD 4 of the BF franchise.
