CoD isn't realistic, becouse IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO. In CoD you're playing as an overpowered badass, who can win war by himself. BF is different, it's more realistic and it's focused on teamwork. Both of these games are almost direct opposites, and they shouldn't be compared. And I' not a fanboy of any of them, I have games from both series.

Many people are OVER-estimating that game. The only thing we know for sure is that it has awesome graphics (seeing trailers), but no more. Destruction ? Only a promess, nothing has been shown yet. Teamplay ? Commander has been canceled. Tactical gameplay ? They are making "easier to play" game, so I don't expect tactical gameplay. (no room left)

Bad Company didn't have transport helos or planes. BC2 didn't have planes or APC (but had IFV instead). BF2 had no controllable ships. BF2142 had no planes, neither medium ground transport.

Even the apache was not planned at start in BF2. Main gunship was the Cobra.

We can't say "it was in the last game, then it will be in the next one", because we have no way to know.
